Join Bryce Canyon National Park for their 16th Annual Astronomy Festival. Plenty of activities to see and do durting this four day event!

Come out to the launch field every morning at 6:30 a.m. and help pilots launch their hot air balloons and you just might be asked to go or a ride! Public parking is available at the baseball complex. Signs will be posted. Visit Panguitchs Historic Downtown on Saturday evening at dusk and witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of balloons glowing up and down Main and Center Streets. Get there early and help pilots inflate their balloons!
Children are welcome to help pilots weigh down the balloon baskets.

Join 2,000 runners early in the morning for the half-marathon beginning in Bryce Canyon City and ending at the Cannonville town park, just 2 blocks from our campground, or enter the 5K run/walk in Cannonville, UT.
"Half Marathon: 6:00A.M. - Starts in Bryce Canyon City - Ends in Cannonville Park. The 1/2 Marathon starts on Hwy 63, Bryce. Start elev. 7,652 ft - Finish at 5,800 ft. 5K Run/Walk: 6:30A.M. - 5K Run/Walk in Cannonville. If you're not interested in competing for cash, or would simply rather endure a shorter distance, start at 6:30 AM in Cannonville for the 5K Run/Walk. The 5K is an out and back in Cannonville on the road to Kodachrome State Park."

Join the Scenic Byway 12 Committee volunteers, race volunteer staff, and other community members for dinner and live music, just a couple of short blocks away from the campground, in the Cannonville Town Park. Dinner will be served starting 6 pm on the evening of Friday July 8. $8 adult / $4 child (12 and under). Proceeds will benefit the Scenic Byway 12 Committee projects that enhance visitor and local residents' travel experience along the Scenic Byway 12 All-American Road.
