This is a very nice and large KOA. I would suggest that another shower house be added to the grounds.

Thank you for your comments. Another shower house is in the plans - we are awaiting approval from DEP to continue.

The portable bathrooms were not maintained very well and there is a public road near the lake that has speeding drunk drivers at night

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry you were unhappy with the site you chose. Unfortunately we cannot control who goes up and down the public road (I wish we could!). The condition of the portajohn will be addressed at the next staff meeting. We are sorry for any inconvenience we caused you.

It was a good time, bathroom was clean. Only point, for late arrival you should put the information in a box somewhere.

Thank you for your comments. We are in the process of doing that at this time. We have mounted the map and placed a "box" for deposits. The rest will be available within the week - sorry for your inconvenience.

Pros... Nice playground, bouncy thing, better than avg restrooms / showers, and very nice staff. Cons... Disappointed that the heated pool that was advertised was freezing. My daughter lasted 15 minutes in the pool before turning blue.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, when the temperature dips into the 30's and 40's at night, it is impossible to get the pool up to 80-84 degrees during the day. We look forward to seeing you again.

Stayed at lake tent site, site area was nice location staff provide campsite map but there was no working showers or even a deep sink to fill a canteen to get water to make coffee.camp store was not open during stay and vending machine couldn't be located except for soda machine which was out of order....that said i feel with some improvements, little things, could be nice koa to visit.

All was great on my stay at POeaceful Valley. I the dogs could be limited to 1 dog under 30 pounds per campsite and make sure that they are not barking or whinning after 10pm. Also the use of alchol by the parents of young children should be limited to their own site and not at the pool where other guests have to watch them drinking at the pool before noon. Sunday to Thursday are the best.

I think this camp ground has a lot of potential but the owners need to get it together. I am not sure where to start. How about having hours posted for the pool and store. Owners seem to open and close each as they choose and it makes it very hard to plan any thing. We were camped close to where they were shooting off fireworks and no one really new where we could setup our tents.
