Beautiful, peaceful, and an amazing experience at this resort. I have no complaints. The location was great, and the site was the best one we've had at a KOA. If we had known how wonderful this location was we would have stayed here longer. ***** 5 Stars all the way and it's more like a resort than KOA (I don't mean that as a dig) but this place is special.

As always, we enjoyed our stay very much. The friendly, helpful, staff and the level of maintenance make Buffalo KOA is one of our very favorite campgrounds. We look forward to returning.

Great place to stay on our way to and from Yellowstone and wish I’d planned for a longer stay as the area is so beautiful and the campground so nice. Thank you to Latelyn for the dinner recommendation- we really enjoyed the Cook House!

This was such a nice KOA!! Setting is beautiful on the river. We had site 97 right on the river. Park is level and site have plenty of room. The whole park is very clean, neat and well maintained!! Landscaped so nice and no road noise!! Staff was very friendly also!! Thanks so much for your work!! We have been in some really bad KOA’s! This is not a bad one!! Cindy and Gary Willcoxon

We broke down and stayed at this KOA. What a great experience and the family who runs this KOA could not have been more gracious in our time of need. They were very flexible in helping us through our time there which made it so much easier as we got our truck fixed. Thank you to the family who take care of this site

We enjoyed our stay as we have in the past. Very nice resort that is very clean in a great setting. The host & hostesses are top notch. So friendly and pleasant upon arrival and when you see them during your stay. We will for sure visit this KOA again.

Wonderful stay! The newer sites out back along the creek are perfect. Exceptionally well maintained property, friendly staff, and plenty to do in the area. All this adds up to a “must stay” for us when we head to Wyoming.

We stayed in a Kamping Kabin. It worked well for our needs. Bathrooms and showers in the main building were always clean. The camping spots along the river are beautiful. Will definitely stay again!

Appreciated how clean and well kept the park was. We stayed in the newer section which will be even better when the trees grow. Also found the staff at checkin yo be very friendly and helpful.

We only pulled off the interstate to sleep, but were very impressed. Very well kept, nice clean restrooms & showers. Conveniently located off interstate.

Was there for a week. The in camp store was not open the hours that were posted. Kind of irritating that we could not buy ice when we needed it.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You are right, our store hours sign is incorrect. I'm sorry we didn't meet your needs. Store hours shift as we move out of the peak season. We do pride ourselves as always being available, as we live here on site, so please don't hesistate to call us as our sign on the store door states.

Such a beautiful place to stay. The creek was awesome! Paul and the rest of the staff were exceptional, especially nice to help us find some assistance with our rv. We would definitely stay here if ever back this way.

We wanted to stay near oiur daughter and her husband who were in another unit. The management helped us do so and we are grateful. The wound of running water from the stream is very relaxing. Also, we loved the spacious patios and easy to use hook-ups. We stay in a lot of campgrounds and this one is winner.

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.

We became stranded due to car trouble, in December! We called and they called us back immediately and had us a cabin in just a few minutes. We ended up staying 2 nights. The restrooms and showers were clean and water temperature perfect! Such a beautiful area and the residents of Buffalo are so nice!!
