We have stayed at the Buffalo KOA several times. It is a truly wonderful facility. My only problem is they advertise open all year - but by mid October, shut off the water. This date should be included in the KOA book description.

We love this Koa! It’s beautiful, tree covered and the clear creek runs right through it. The bathrooms are clean and the laundry facilities are useful.

One night, arrived at 3:45pm no one in office to great us, no reservation packet to let us know which site, not notified that water was shut off until we called after we were all set up.

Messaging indicates staff is always available help folks as needed. We are open when most parks in the region are closed. Temps can vary greatly and change rapidly, so we winterize by 10/15. Water is available to fill tanks and our bathhouse is open. Read confirmations and website for these details.

When we stopped for the evening, we did not expect for the water to be turned off for the season. Fortunately, we had fresh water on board, and we were able to use that water. Additionally, there was no cable TV and the local over-the-air reception left a lot to be desired. We were tired from driving so went to bed. The park gets better and better with improvements.

We were very disappointed the water had been turned off and we still had to pay the Full Services rate. That is not appropriate.

You paid a Fall season discounted rate. Temps vary greatly and change rapidly, so it is foolish not to winterize by 10/15. I'm glad you had great weather while you were here, but be sure to read the confirmation, signage, website to know the details of your stay. You can always call us as well.

The campground itself was beautiful. Sites are big and nice. However when we arrived there was no one in the office, the water was off to the entire park, ( I see the need for winterizing, however when it’s 78 degrees and all the other KOA’s have water, it’s a little annoying) we paid for a premium site, with the fenced area, and the electricity was off to the gazebo etc so we could not enjo

We found this place to be an unexpected surprise. From the access off the road to the our camp site. The sites are spaciously arranged with great turning radius. Friendly place. Would be a great place to spend time and explore the surrounding area.

Great place. We paid extra for one of the fenced area lots for our pup. Would have given 5 stars if they had taken a leaf blower to the patio area before our arrival. That mess was disappointing for paying for a premium spot, but the campground itself was very nice.

It’s our 3rd stay here and the park keeps getting better with each stay, the hosts are always making improvements. Our last stay was late in the season and it was so peaceful we got to see deer quite often. We will be back again next year.

In the wind and rain we were given the EXPENSIVE private patio camp sight.

This review is wholly unwarranted. Your reservation was made online at the KOA website by you. We provided you the site you selected and had prepaid for. We would have been glad to give you an alternate site if you had asked, but you didn't say anything. What would you have preferred us do exactly?

Always a great visit to this KOA. Hosts are super nice & the CG is well maintained and has been getting nicer year after year. This place is a great example of what KOAs should look like!!

The spaces are pretty short and small. Could not park my pickup in front the the camper after I had set up. Did not allow outdoor rugs. Every other campground we have stayed in all allow them. The campground was very clean, pretty area and well maintained.

Because we are diligent to upkeep and ask guests to help by parking on the pad and keeping items off the grass our park stands out and we are not "EVERY OTHER PARK." We ensure rigs and vehicles fit comfortably in sites without T-boning the rig. I am shocked you found this simple request unreasonable

The staff member I spoke with to make my reservation was super nice and efficient. The best phone rez experience I ever had! The park was beautiful and clean. We were passing through and only stayed overnight. Next time, we will definitely plan on staying a few days in one of the deluxe sites!

Selective implantation of rules, rude staff, had been staying there for 8 yrs won't be returning due to new ownerships policies. Extremely dissapointed.

This is really confusing for us, Kevin. After talking with our team, we are unaware of any poor interaction with you. You didn't come talk to us and you have not returned our VM. We even cancelled a reservation for you at no charge during hunting season. We would love to understand what happened.

We really enjoyed the stay! In the single room cabins, if you had 2 bunk beds instead of 1 bunk and a full , you could have a little more room to move around. That’s the only thing I would change. This is the best and cleanest campground I have ever stayed at.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Buffalo KOA. Paul and his family were a joy to deal with and talk to. The camp itself was quiet, clean and easy to get around in. Well Done!

Sometimes the staff was friendly other times not so much. I asked about having 2 vehicles at the cabin and was told that we can Park up front or on either side of the campfire just to be called up and told we need to move a vehicle. I also kept getting phone calls to move us out of the cabin to some where else it was very annoying. I will not be coming back if they keep changing rules all the time

No staff reported conflicts with you. None told you that two vehicles could be parked at the site. Asking to move a vehicle isn't a big deal. I did ask if it was possible to move you to a one room when your reservation showed only 2 people. Once you clarified more were coming I happily accommodated.

Very cute small town, camp is the best KOA I have seen. Great steak restaurant just down the street (3 minute walk). It made a great stop along our long journey.

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.

We became stranded due to car trouble, in December! We called and they called us back immediately and had us a cabin in just a few minutes. We ended up staying 2 nights. The restrooms and showers were clean and water temperature perfect! Such a beautiful area and the residents of Buffalo are so nice!!
