Decent price for 1 night while traveling. Poor ampage for electric & on Labor Day office closed at 5:00. Decent location when traveling. Poor TV cable & had to switch to antenna to get weather and news.

Great stay for the Labor Day weekend. Pool time was wonderful, roomy site, no problems with WIFI or hookups.

Normally we rate our stay's much higher. While the facility was very nice and the people as well, their laundry was out of order. One of the many reasons we stay at the KOA facilities is because of the consistency from campground to campground. We should have been informed of the problem so we could make alternate choices for laundry. Moving forward, KOA WILL NOT be my first choice.

Stayed Labor Day, 2024. Park was full…sites are close and tight. We were here for 1 night. It was a holiday, Labor Day, the park was close to 100% occupancy, and one close by site was overly celebrating with alcohol and extremely loud music. There was no KOA representative available to enforce the rules… Not a restful stay

Broken glass, beer cans, and trash not cleaned out of fire pit prior to check in. DJ Todd too loud. This KOA wanted to charge $30 per site to reserve a buddy site - KOA Corporate says the fee should be $10. Management of this campground has deteriorated with the sale from Mike and Shirley to the out of state owners. New manager is not as effective as Rhonda was.

I would like to give a shout out to all the staff. Everyone was incredibility kind. We have never stayed at this location. The sites are very close together and we didn't know that the middle was buddy. Fortunately for us our neighbors were nice. The pool was not heated and very small. It was very crowded on Sunday when everyone seemed to want to enjoy the water.

The site are overly crowded together, I felt like we didn't have any place to breathe. Also, we should have been warned we were in a buddy site. This was an unfortunate surprise. Our neighbors had several kids and we spent the weekend feeling like we were in their way on our own campsite. Never again!

Everyone was very Friendly and helpful. All the staff were very nice! I liked being able to text the office and get my questions answered. The DJ WAS VERY GOOD and put on a Great show. I will definitely be Back hopefully in October.

The stay is always great!The kids have been really disappointed though in the stay, they are opening events late and closing events early, “due to staffing issues” as this happens but not every weekend. The management needs to step up the game and speak up before they lose things. All of us campers want to spend weekends enjoying ourselves and that is those of us with kids know kids need fun

It was a good stay. The staff was great. The park was clean and well taken care off. The only complaint that I have was the at our lot was dead tree and we was afraid that it was going to fall on our rig. We had one limb fall and poked a hole in our roof. So I had to get that fixed. But we would come back. We just wouldn't stay under there trees.

Except for no hot water the first full day we were there and the plugged up sewage line towards the last day, It was a great time. We didn’t take advantage of any of the amenities because we basically just fished the lake the whole time. Thank You for an enjoyable experience.

We checked in on a Thursday. Not too crowded, but as the weekend approached, it got way more crowded. However, it was still a calm sweet campground. Not too loud, fun filled, very nice campground! We will return!

It is a very nice place. The lady at the front counter upon check in seemed very dry but polite. Besides that I would definitely stay there again.

I was on a quick overnite, but that doesn't keep me from seeing what this KOA can be! A great hide out with a boating lake across the road! It was easy in and out off of I-70 and I plan to come back and relax and not have to pull out again so quickly. I'd stay here again tonite if I could.

Sewer pipes are very high & hard to get hose sloped enough to drain. When it rained, there's standing water around the electrical. Water was very close to our surge protector & had to tie it up to keep it dry. Cable was fuzzy. Internet was slow. Activities are geared toward kids & I couldn't tell if we had to pay or not. They should really be included. Pool hours not posted & weren't consistent..

The office needed to close early on the day we arrived, no problem, sometimes things happen. The man on the golf cart watched me walk to the door I read the sign and picked up my paperwork at the night arrivals desk. As I walked back to the MH, he said, the office is closed to which I replied, yes, I picked up my paperwork. He was quite rude as I apparently interrupted him reading his cell phone.

Sewer was backed up when we first arrived after they cleared it out then came the smell for several hours. I thought that the price was high even with discount.

Excellent time with camp staff and fellow campers. The activities scheduled and provided in conjunction with the local public safety agencies and emergency medical helicopter were amazing.

Good stop over on the way home however don’t plan on doing your laundry. You could wash it but you’d have to hang dry it because all (4) of the dryers were OUT OF ORDER! Really!

We have been to Buckeye Lake Campgrounds multiple times. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The workers running around in golf carts stop to speak with you. We will go back! Mike the maintenance man, the married couple, & the woman marine are very friendly and just lovely people!!! Great place with a great crew. Clean. Nearby restaurants with live bands if you don't feel like cooking!!

Fantastic KOA! Attentive, friendly staff. The grounds are beautiful and close to amenities (walking distance to a great coffee shop, some restaurants, Buckeye Lake State Park). Thank you for a great stay.

Liked the campground very much we stayed there twice in one week first time we were charged $75 0ne week later we told it would be $84 both are two high for a quick overnight stay.

Staff is very pleasant. Grounds are nice and kept clean. You can walk to the lake and also to several places to eat or just have a drink. Even a Dollar General type store across the road for those things you may have forgotten, in need of, or used up.

All was ok,except for the neighbors sanitation line was beside our concrete pad with the table, not good for food or sitting, and again the cable was not very good.

The sites are average, no grass anywhere unless you’re in the permanent locations and even then it’s bare. I felt the staff was on top of everything and it was clean in regards to the bathroom. Easy stay overall but it can be improved.

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

We were early season guests during a week with very strong spring weather. The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
