The gentle hills of southern Indiana's Brown County roll off into the distance from this KOA, set atop a forested ridge. Although it's easy to reach, the campground is tucked among the trees away from the main road. Tent Sites and Back-In RV Sites make the most of the wooded setting; so does the walking trail, popular with both human and canine campers. You'll also find Pull-Thru RV Sites and Camping Cabins.  Looking for "Glamp Camping"? We have 1, 2, and 3-bedroom deluxe cabins to fit your needs. Our amenities include a large swimming pool, a basketball court, corn hole, a small playground for your children and a fenced pet park. Hikers and golfers are happy to take advantage of the lovely Brown County State Park and Salt Creek Golf Retreat, both just across the road. If you are going to The Music Center for a concert, book a couple of nights with us in a cabin.  Less than two miles away, downtown Nashville, Indiana, delights visitors with its historic artists' colony, locally owned shops, restaurants, and is just minutes away from the Brown County Music Center.  Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. The Brown County Playhouse strives to offer diverse, authentic, and innovative entertainment year-round. The 425-seat theater also serves as a partner and contributor to the local economy. The Brown County Playhouse is a cultural and community icon. Since 1949, the Brown County Playhouse has served as a hub of entertainment for its patrons, offering a variety of shows, musicals, movies, and more. In fact, the Playhouse was the first summer stock theater to open in Indiana after World War II. Brown County State Park

Nicknamed the “Little Smokies” because of the area's resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains, Brown County encompasses nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges and fog-shrouded ravines. Glaciers from the most recent ice ages stopped short of the “hills o' Brown,” but their meltwaters helped create the narrow ridges, steep slopes and deep gullies of Brown County State Park. Indiana's largest park is a traditional fall color hot spot, with nearly 20 miles of tree-lined roads and many scenic vistas overlooking miles of uninterrupted forestland.
Lots to do at the park including:
Climb the 90' Fire Tower for a breath-taking view of the hills o' Brown.
See the rare (and state-endangered) Yellowwood tree on Trail 5.
Visit the nature center to see the rare, state-endangered timber rattlesnake.
Watch a sunrise or sunset from a vista.
