Nice staff. Nice campground. We prefer to be escorted to our site and have trash pick up. Most KOA’s offer this service.

Super friendly and professional staff! Cozy, shaded pull thru site! Beautiful old growth hardwood trees throughout the camp ground. For early August, the cool mountain air was so refreshing! Only negative was poor mobile phone reception and terribly slow internet. Phone and internet wouldn’t be a huge issue for most, but we work while traveling!

Great stay, we had to reschedule due to Covid and it was easy to do, this was our first rv trip and site was easy to pull into, hook up was easy, bathrooms were clean and it was nice to be able to purchase firewood and supplies. We enjoyed the mini golfing and corn hole. The dump station was convenient and overall pleased with our stay

The sites that were rated for our length of travel trailer were smaller than other KOAs in which we have stayed. It made it very difficult to pull in and pull out as well as park our truck while we were at the site. The other campers we talked to had the same complaint! In addition the WIFI sucked! Any person that is self employed and needed to contact clients was out of luck!!!!!

Absolutely no wifi. They know it's an issue and yet don't update through available technology. Even says this on pamphlet, plan accordingly. The place is in a great location, very quiet but all services need a major update. Not sure why pool closes at 6pm, if quite hours aren't til 10pm...maybe make an adult only time start at 6pm therfore those of us without kids can enjoy the water.

Weak WiFi was my only issue, it kept dropping out and was off most of the time. Sites were clean and staff was always available and helpful.

The people in the store were very nice and helpful. The views were beautiful. It is a nice place to stay when we go tubing with friends, but there is not much to write home about. The pool is small and there was a playground. But not much else. They did not have a place to top off propane, and found a Tractor Supply which was not around the corner. Lucky for us, we were on our way home.

The campground was nice but the sites are very close. If your are looking to communicate with the outside world the wifi is very weak and cable tv is not available. Staff as very friendly and helpful when we first checked in to our site and there was a problem and relocated us and resolved the problem. He area was very peaceful and relaxing.

They need to go around and look at the trees that are hanging over the sites and cut out the dead limbs because they were two big dead limbs over our camper was concerned that the wind would bring them down on us hardly seen any staff out and about other than that we enjoyed our stay

No cable, gravel roads made walking uneasy, neighbors parked in the road and wouldn't move so we could leave, had to back out to leave

The staff were super nice and helpful & restrooms very clean. I must have had the "unicorn" site. WIFI was good enough for me to work from. I didn't stream, but when I called to ask about WIFI they did tell me that it wouldn't be sufficient for streaming. Besides, it was great to enjoy the outdoors and a book! Skoda enjoyed the dog park and I loved all the flowers and shrubs!

We arrived Saturday afternoon and left the following Saturday. No real activities for children during the week and they just told us where our campsite was located...did not show us to the site. It was clean. The pool water was cold. Need to have activities for children during the summer and not just on SATURDAYS. Staff provided auto repair shops as we had to get new break shoes on our truck.

Great views. Toilet block was often dirty not cleaned often enough. Only cleaned once a day. 2 sinks were out of order . The tile grout needs cleaning. Sites close together no privacy.

Excellent. Everything was great. Great view ,great music ,animal friendly . We enjoyed your place very much! Peaceful and quiet. Plenty of lightening bugs. Cows were friendly! Close to Boone. Mike's seafood was delicious! Country store was great! Goober Peas

WiFi was a joke - stated it wasn’t strong enough for streaming but it would not even load a webpage or the weather or even a map. The dump site had a cap on it that was very difficult to use. Super difficult drive to the site. Close - really close - sites and my neighbors were super loud until way after 11 pm and cooking breakfast before 8. No cell and no WiFi - dealbreaker!

Fun campground and Boone is a great place to visit. Friendly staff. Biggest problem is the lack of any reasonable LTE signal and bad Wifi :(. Not much you can do about that up in the mountains, but we did find AT&T at least worked enough for basic email etc. Verizon has nothing up there.

Pretty little campground at the top of the hill. Make sure to follow their directions for the correct streets. Wifi needs some work, but otherwise rest of the grounds were nice.

Boone KOA has been our favorite “second home” for years! We so enjoy the professionalism and personal touch of the staff, and the consistent improvements and care. This isn’t the most wiz-bang KOA, but has the heart of the very first KOA, and we always find our way back to Boone!

No room for our camper so I tented for a couple of nights. Quiet, clean, and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back!

The staff was very sweet. Campground was clean mostly outdated need more things for the kids to do. Had to pay to play putt putt. Which is fine except for the greens on the courses were in bad shape, boards were rotted. The pool area concrete was chipping. I will probably not visit this KOA again Just because it is outdated and there is nothing for the kids to do.

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
