On I-17, 25 miles north of Phoenix: Take exit 242 (rock Springs/Black Canyon City) and turn east. directly ahead is a sign: Frontage road. Follow Frontage road; KOA entrance is 1/2 mile on right. Avoid exit 244.

PEOPLE HERE WERE SO NICE! CAMPSITE IS A LITTLE OUT OF WAY FROM SPRING TRAINING, BUT NOT TOO BAD. CAMPSITE/RESTROOMS SUPER CLEAN.

lots of weeds that I felt could be trimmed in camping areas to make it look better.
Hot showers, great!!!
nice and quiet at night.

Horriable Place. 1st exprience for my wife/kids. Office was closed from 11-2 open 2-5. Then the manger went to take the goats out for a walk we asked for a fire pit and he said should have asked when he was in the office to late and

Advertised that pool was open year-round. It was green and inoperative. Advertised playground, it is very broken and has been for at least 3 years. Not kid-friendly. Bathrooms in bad shape.

If I was in a camper or cabin this would have been enjoyable. I brought a tent that just fit into my camp site. The pictures are misleading. There are 6 tent sites which are stacked on top of each other. No privacy. Not to mention the elementary school in ear shot so you hear everything. And the women's bathroom door hazard I cut my hand on.
