Staying at the Billings KOA was an unexpected delight. The tent site was spacious & staff were friendly. I enjoyed the setup of the campground, and my family really enjoyed the pool, playground, and mini golf. Would stay here again, even if it was for a stay-cation.

Had a great time. Team helped me switch sites to shadier spot. The showers and bathrooms were always clean. Liked the ice cream and coffee truck options.

Needs a little updating. The bathrooms were spotless and the shower had pretty good pressure.

The grounds are lovely and very well maintained. Restrooms had a strong urine odor, and the streetlights stayed on much later than we'd hoped, but otherwise it is a fantastic Kamp and we are fans!

The grass areas for tents are underwatered, and there should be tent pads to keep the grass in better shape. The tent area desperately needs to have a toilet closer. The Kamping Kabins should not have porch lights that shine directly into the tent area--this made it very difficult to sleep, but could be fixed by putting a different light fixture on to make the light shine down rather than out.

Fantastic Campground! Good pitches, I tented. Good amenities. For kids there’s a pool, playground and crazy golf (adults too). The Yellowstone River is a very short walk. Best set up I’ve seen for Showers/Restrooms and, in this day and age, the WiFi actually works fast. Some campgrounds it was taking overnight to post on social media, here it’s instant.

This is a really fun location. The staff is very friendly. Bathrooms were fairly clean, especially for a very busy day.

The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen! The campground had the right amount of activities: firewood for campfires, mini golf, swimming, the hot air balloon, etc. I will stay there again!

Nice facility overall, but seems like the tent sites weren't looked over between campers. We had to move a picnic table from an unused site to ours and we had to clean up someone else's dog poop before we could put our tent up.

This was the nicest KOA we have stayed in across the country The bathrooms and showers were first taste. The employees were very nice.

I felt the tent sites were too close together. The activities were fun (i.e. mini golf , tye-dye, pool). 50 % of the staff seemed very enjoyable while the other 50% seemed very overwhelmed. It was a nice rest stop for our long trip but would probably skip the Billings location next time. The Hot Springs location we visited a couple days prior was a much more pleasant/relaxing experience.

It didn't even feel like we were in Billings! Everything we needed was right there, the staff was very courteous, and our kids had so much fun with swimming, mini golf, and playground. The only thing possibly missing was an indoor game room that we've seen at other KOA's. That would've been nice for one rainy evening since we were tenting, but we survived. ;)

This is the perfect place for a "staycation." The kids have a blast with mini golf and swimming and it is so convenient and affordable for us to make a weekend out of it.

Just stayed one night and arrived very late, but place was very pleasant and the restrooms and showered were all very clean. Appreciated the 24 hr laundry so we could boil some water and have a late dinner!

We were only here for one night but it's a really nice KOA. A lot of amenities, most of which we didn't have time to take advantage of. The dog park was a nice addition, although part of it was closed/under construction. I do wish there could be different rules as it relates to pets in some of the areas (like the playground) but I know not everyone is traveling with a 9-pound dog like us.

Billings KOA put my scout group in a good campsite that fits our group. Scouts had fun swimming and playing mini golf. restrooms were clean.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. I love that the bathrooms and showers are actual individual bathrooms and not just stalls. My boys enjoyed the pool and we took advantage of the laundry facilities. The only drawback is there are zero trees at tent sites and therefore zero shade or privacy for tent campers. Bring a canopy if you want shade.

Super clean, has tons of amenities, and staff was crazy friendly! The only “complaint” was the tent sites. Tight spots with minimal shade. Felt like the have nots looking over at the haves who had everything (even though they don’t necessarily “need” it with full AC blowing and rarely outside.

We stayed 2 nights, the first in a cabin the second in tents. We enjoyed the wildlife except the mosquitoes. We were close to downtown to partake in some fun events but were a little bummed we didn't have time to try out the mini golf. We also missed out on most of the movie and ice cream.

Camping here at the 1st KOA in the world in 1962. Passing thru for one night. Nice park as most KOAs are. It's next to Yellowstone River. They have playground, mini golf, pool, laundry, nice showers & restroom. Sites seem pretty level. Not all sites have a grill.
