Wi-fi non existent, very week and spotty. Close to highway and came be noisy along with trains whistles. Men’s restroom was inoperative when we were there. OK for a quick night stop. Lots of shade with big trees.

I had a great time at big timber. The staff was fantastic kudos to Josh every question answered and some more than I didn’t even know I had. I have already recommended big timber to family members and friends.

Great CG, clean restrooms & showers, fairly level & good sized sites. The power fell short, my analyzer showed an open numeral both receptacles and with CB off there was still power at both receptacles. The office was told about the problem but nothing was done about it.

Hi! Was just doing a quick over night this time. Josh offered me a tight but snugglet spit for my 19 ft motorhome. Dropped down to 36 that night. He offered suggested , was perfect! Deirdre

We needed more light in the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, our cabin was very close to the hiway noise. We would come back again

Really enjoyed this KOA. Big trees, grassy and spacious sites. Highway and train tracks are close but we didn't find the noise as bad as other campgrounds that are right off the highway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient stop on the way between Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore. Would definitely stay again.

To begin with your direction you sent me were wrong and I sent too much time back tracking after a long days drive. We were given key cards for the restrooms. What a joke, Both women’s and men’s locks were broken. I definitely did not feel safe using the women’s at all. Only positive thing I have to say is Josh who was working that evening was very friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful campsite. Big trees, well kept. Privacy! Not overwhelminglike in other places. The jumping pillow is super fun. The staff is friendly and the store is supercute. It does sit near the train tracks which runs round the clock. This was not a issue for us however, and we slept really well. We preferred this KOA to others near the area and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Used for overnight while traveling. Clean and friendly people. Worked with us to make it possible that we didn’t have to disconnect truck from Motorhome. Have some branches that could use trimming. Big pine tree that we had to drive through turning into site.

If you are in a tent avoid at all costs. It’s right in between the highway and train tracks.

Seven trains went through with four loud horn blasts each time. The park was a nice park but didn’t sleep at all. Won’t stay there again!

Very nice!!! We like staying at KOA because they are dog friendly. Nice place to walk our dogs but we didn't use dog park as it was busy most of the time. We will stay here again.

Just an overnight so it was OK. Like the reviews and hand out says, lots of highway and train noise. Our 5th wheel and truck barely fit the space and we towered over the campers beside us. But like I said just overnight. Campground was clean and neat. Staff friendly and helpful.

Really clean and very nice staff. Yes, a little road noise until dark and a couple of trains, but not a deal breaker. I'd go back.

I don't mind trains and highway noise, I just wish you had some sort of breakfast, something hard to find in the area. Restroom wasn't cleaned very well but I will stay again!

Please get the GPS coordinates corrected and address on your confirmation receipts. Both sent us to no where and 30 miles out of our way! The directions on the confirmation receipt were correct however.

Rather old park, with new owners I think. The office/store is very nice but that’s where it ends. The park is next to the interstate & rail tracks. I lost track of how many times I was awakened by train horns. The brochure offers apologies & ear plugs! The sites are very narrow, not even close to level. Don’t understand why they ask for rig size since that was hardly considered. Will not retur

I wasn't able to make my trip but was still charged the full price. It's very unlikely that I would ever consider staying at a KOA.

The camp ground was neat and well kept. Camp personnel were friendly and helpful . There is some train noise and interstate noise but not enough to cause anyone a problem sleeping. We enjoyed our stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, we stayed in a standard cabin, and were surprised to find linens on our mattresses, but we chose to use our sleeping bags.(this was a first in our "cabin experience";; 4 other KOAs did not provide these. Our cabin was clean / comfortable. Although the showers were adequate, they need updating. Staff recommended "Big Timber Bakery" for breakfast & it was worth the drive!

We are railroad lovers, however 13 trains in one night all tooting for the rail crossing was a little much. Nice well kept grounds and friendly staff made up for the trains.

Trains were honking all night. Sewer connection was at least 20 feet from the t.t. discharge location. there was no escort to site and the map was confusing. the guy who pulled in next to us even commented that the map was worth less than fish guts.

The campground was very clean and well taken care of. The staff is very professional. Nice little C-store. Great campground and would highly recommend it.

This is such an ideal place for families with kiddos to stay! So much fun stuff to keep them busy in a safe environment. The staff is great and the facility was very clean.

Great campground, friendly staff, good facilities. The spots are small and close to each other, but with enough space to set everything up, also have trees to provide some shade when needed. It has K9 camp, playground, laundry, bathroom was neat and clean. The free coffee is a nice touch. 😍 We had a smooth booking using the app and a easy late night check-in. It's super close to the highway, so it can be a bit noisy for those who are light sleepers.

Welcome was great, efficient and friendly. Spot /area clean and level. Store was a little low on stock but still good variety. We bought hotdogs and buns for chili dogs! Yes we heard a train but it didn't wake us or anything. We run a small fan at night so that provides a great white noise background. We recommend this campground and would stay again.
