We stopped for a night passing through. The staff was very nice. No grass mostly all gravel and some nasty stickers our dogs managed to find! It was fun to watch the jack rabbits-Mostly it was good for a night.

It was easy to find the sites and file out the paper the work. Nice quit and the people in the were very friendly. I would say there again.

Perfect over niter space close to cool attractions. Staff was awesome.. got to see a Bobcat on the outside of the fence. Only draw back, and it's a big one. Was the little round sticker bushes! Couldn't walk anywhere.. even had big patches right outside our door. They tracked in on shoes and got stuck in dog feet. Other than that. 5 stars for a KOA Journey.

We were there during the off season, so when we arrived we were the only RV which was weird. No pool which was sad especially considering it was 100 + everyday. We were there to see Tombstone so location was good.

Our tent site was 5 feet from everything- entrance road, dump station, k-9 park and if the camper spot beside us had been occupied I think we would have been under their camper. And the office lights burned bright all night. Terrible for tent campers. Positive - the campground was pretty empty so it was quite.

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Benson was a great stop for the kartchner caverns and Bisbee and tombstone. Great place!

The Hosts were helpful and friendly from the moment I called from the highway. They made me feel like family. We stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. Thank you for helping find someone to deliver food also.

Great! The only complaint is that it takes a VERY long time for the hot water to make it to the showers. Thanks for having us!

It was a nice and clean facility, but we were disappointed that it was closed perhaps permanently, and the code for the Womens restroom didn’t work. We know we were entering the code correctly because the men’s did work as instructed.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very nicely upgraded facilities. We had a camper van mechanical problem that required us to get it towed back to Tempe, AZ, after our one night stay and the staff did everything possible to help us solve the problem and arrange the tow. Thank you!

Plusses: Quiet, 1/2 mile from I-10. Beautiful new bathrooms. Friendly staff and well kept. Not as great: Gravel/dirt road, in good shape, but dusty, to get there. Very little shade for the sites.

The staff was kind and friendly. But the road to this KOA is in DESPERATE need of repair. It is long with washboards and it made me wish I had chosen somewhere else to stay.

It certainly is not the most scenic KOA we've been to and there weren't many activities, but the showers were huge and the bathrooms were immaculate which I really appreciated!

Though a portion of the facility is being renovated, the remainder is very worn. Not sure of the total number of sites, but there is only one shower stall for the men. Overall, it appears as though staff do not care about this place. Too bad.

We stayed for just one night. The area is far enough away from I-10 to be quiet and restful. The only reason I didn't give it a five was because of the lack of a usable WiFi. We visited the campground with a travel trailer.

Short, fun. If you go to town and the is stopped on the tracks, there is a work around.

Half the property appeared to be closed off and under construction. The camping cabin did have a fridge, but a TV instead of a microwave. I would much prefer a microwave for convenience instead of a TV. There was a frame for a canopy, but no actual canopy for shade. The property could use a regular extermination service for bugs.

We stayed for 9 days and really liked this campground. All of the people involved were really nice and helpful. The laundry facilities were very clean and well kept. I didn't use the showers, but were told by another camper that they were very nice also. We would definitely recommend this campground to everyone.

This KOA is off the freeway in the desert so very quiet. Clean and accessible restrooms/showers. We came in after hours but the registration materials made it easy to self-check in. The host at the desk in the morning was very helpful in directing us to points of interest in the area, specifically Bisbee, AZ, which wasn’t on our radar and was a fun side trip. I would stay there again.

Disappointed KOA Member. Narrow, small sites. ALL RV'ers placed very close together in one area when there were plenty of empty sites in the park. We spoke to the office regarding their placement system. Awoke at midnight to a trailer pulling in on top of us when many empty spots were available in other area of park. Why place a late arrival there? Bare bones campground. One plus...clean.

We travel with our dogs and the Benson KOA has a wonderful K9 Kamp and the were nice enough to put us close to it.

Friendly staff. We'll lit park with a nice walking area for pets. A little tight getting out for us but we have a 38ft motorhome and tow a car. Most would have no issues. We will be back when in the area.

We stayed here some time ago and since we were traveling through the area again, decided to stay again. Easy access from I-10 and a great pull through campsite.

The campground was almost empty and we called to let them know we would be in late, lots of traffic. Pulled in at midnight exhausted. They put us next to another person, the spaces are tight. No way to hookup without waking the densely packed area of the campground. My neighbors let me know they had already complained to management about this practice.

This is a lovely camp with good thing to come. The manager Mike and his wife are the nicest people. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a great visit. The showers and bathrooms are spotless. The parking spots are a generous size and the hooks ups are well placed. They also have the cabins if you need them. If you are going to Benson AZ this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.

I always get my propane refilled here, they're extremely friendly and helpful. It's always quiet, clean and especially easy to get to.
