This KOA is way overpriced. Our site was just long enough for pur 5th wheel ( had to park truck basically perpendicular to the RV and was partially in the road). We did have a "premium" site. The "tiny houses" were full of seasonal residents and all the grass and weeds were knee high. The dog park grass was finally mowed the last day we were there. Maybe at 1/2 the price it'd be ok.

We had a great stay at Benbow… the staff were very helpful, suggesting places to visit, hike and eat. There recommendation turn a good stay into a great stay.

We only stayed the nite at Benbow. It was clean, beautiful, and the Staff were very helpful telling us about the local things to see & do. Very clean & nice sites

This place was extremely accommodating. I have a problem walking and they did everything they could to make sure that I was close to facilities, and it was affordable. The washroom was also warm and clean making it inviting. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

The sites are very narrow and would not accommodate our 40ft motorhome with out towed vehicle still connected. We could not make it to our assigned site due to a vehicle parked it block part of the road, tough to make the turn into our assigned site. The staff was very accommodating when we asked for a different site. We usually do not take off our towed vehicle on overnight stays.

Price increase from previous year was $25.00+. Seems very excessive for the campsite. Will add that the employees were extremely courteous and the maintenance employees were very helpful. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

Stayed there on Sunday nite of the 30th.... Great stay as always. Stayed there again on our way south Thursday nite of the 4th. I just have to say that the the 2 in your store at check in, or in need of anything. Are so nice. Sherrie and Chloe,. They are the best. We met them on Monday. And Thursday they did not disappoint.... Very happy what they were doing and happy to see us again. Thx

Stay was good but could not empty holding tanks. The receiving tanks were full and almost overflowing. Had to haul all the way back home. I should have called corporate …..

Our site was quiet and the bathrooms were clean. Chloe checked us in and she was very friendly. She took time to go over the map of the Avenue of the Giants and point out some of her favorite spots. Overall it was a good visit in a beautiful area.

Thanks for upgrading the wireless... that is a major determining factor on whether we stay and also recommend to friends. The park looks a lot better than it did 2 years ago.

we love Benbow KOA... been many times. people that work there are the best.so friendly.. Met Dennis and Sophie that are working there, so nice. Best beer selection. Absolutely beautiful place. At Crescent City koa right now....But we will see you again on Friday. Benbow is the best KOA. til friday

All was nice. We noticed the cabins needed painting and the garbage near the restrooms needed to be emptied. Other than that, nice accommodations.

We had a good time. Went down to the river and played with are granddaughter, set by our portable campfire, and visited with people.

Sites are kept up but there was a trailer behind us that seemed to be a permanent resident. Vehicles came and went thru the night for a very short amount of time. Hard to get a good night sleep with this going on and we did not feel safe. Will not go back.

Very clean park. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative, the sites are a little small for today's larger rigs. The trees need to be trimmed back so as not to scratch sides of rigs, the electrical and water posts need moved further up in the sites.

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling
