Always a nice clean place to relax and end the trip with, there were some water pressure issues but they were on it. A nice safe place for kids to ride bicycles and swim. The ladies in the office are very nice and helpful.

It was a good stay I had a back in patio and at first didn't get bought sight. Staff did change sights. The trees at the sight are in bad places narrow road and trees to try not to hit makes it hard to pull in. I saw 2 rigs hit tree limbs during my stay and one did some real damage to rv

The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. The dog had decided to wet all the bedding in my teardrop and thankfully the laundry was opened 24 hours and the staff even though they were short of quarters sold us the quarters for all our pennies and other change. Thank you

Everything was great! We always enjoy our stays with you, including the site, the golf course, the pool, etc. We appreciate that you are implementing continuing updating of the sites, electrical power, lighting, etc. We particularly enjoy walking over to the Inn for cocktails and dinners. So sorry about the fire sprinkler blowout over there. Hope it is soon repaired and the ceilings renovated

Loved our sites on the two visits we made to and from our daughter's house in burnt ranch this week. Staff was more than accommodating and helpful - Loved the river. Wish you did a pancake breakfast like Petaluma and Avila Beach does on the weekends though - Didn't see pancake mix at the store so I have to buy some for next visit - Overall had a great stay. Thank you!

Wi-Fi I would give a 1 out of 10. My phone worked better being disconnected from the Wi-Fi and then the signal is too weak to load a page of anything. The golf course either needs to fully operational or not open at all. Enjoyable with a group of people but no cell signal and no Giants games available on cable service makes the value a little over priced

A great staff always willing to help. We were curious as to why tents are allowed in full hook ups and as to why more than two cars were allowed in sites? Also would if been nice to know all activities available to kids and times.

Room was clean and perfectly cool upon my arrival. Plenty of space for activities. The camp ground in general was very accommodating and so luxurious. Will most definitely be returning. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time. Every member of the staff was as friendly as could be. They were accommodating when asked questions and very helpful. Justin runs an exceptional facility, which is awesome in a manager. The grounds were clean and beautifully maintained. I must say this KOA experience was the best we’ve had in 30 years of KOA camping! Thank you, Justin and team!!!

Sites are really tight to get into. Not terribly level. Have a long rig and we BARELY fit. Had to park truck in a less than wonderful way. Pretty place, though. Been here before and will come back again.

Super nice park and staff! Having the Benbow Inn 5 minutes away is a big plus. Monitor the tent site more closely as it looked like a homeless camp when we stayed there. Only negative experience while overnighting here.

We've always loved staying at the KOA in Benbow. This, however, was unfortunately our worst stay. There was a group there from the local festival, and some of the members were pretty offensive. They were wearing next to nothing at the pool, changing out in the open at their campsites. At the pool, they were playing loud music, and using inappropriate language.

Lovely premium site. Clean campground. Large mature trees. Level sites. Staff was very accommodating. Supported us with every request we had. Never a no. Fire pit at site 78 was too deep. Could not enjoy a fire. Campground roads could use resurfacing. Many ruts and potholes. Improvements could include light food service for purchase. Weekends? Portable food vendors? Use Friendship or Village Hall.

The tent sites were unlevet and was bumpy. No real decent spots to even put up a tent. There needs to be a maintenance crew to fix this problem. Also there was trash glass and metal in the site. I will have to check out my site before I put money down on it the next time.

Great staff and improved grounds. Recent changes are working. Very disappointed in golf course pricing. The course has improved but not worthy of that price for a cart and 9 holes

Nice facility. Lots to do. We just stayed overnight on our way to Oregon. Sites are quite close together. We could just manage with a 38’ RV and dinghy. One negative- terrible WiFi.

Love the pet walk through the trees and being so close to the coast and the town of Benbow. The staff was always helpful and nice. The laundry room is in the Rec room which was annoying from kids running around and a woman having a zoom meeting.

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling
