We are older and were tenting. We so appreciated that they left the light on in the kitchen area, so we had extra light when we got up during the night to go to the bathroom. We also had alittle trouble putting up our tent and the owner came over to help. When though we had figured it out, we appreciated the offer.

The outdoor cooktop station was perfect for prepping quick hot meals. Thank you for accommodating two parties to use one site it was very convenient for everyone to take care of kids and the dog.

Highly recommend Bemidji KOA Journey! This was our very first year staying with this campground. Dennis and Jim both made sure we were warmly welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed before they closed the office each night. Very family friendly! We will be back again!

Very friendly staff and clean facilities. My kids enjoyed the pool. We stayed at a tent site, which I would do again, only if I could pick the site. Our site was so close to the neighbors. The neighbors tent was only 5 feet from our fire pit. Would have been great if we knew them, but we didn’t, and it was a little uncomfortable. Other tent sites were not so close, and offered more privacy

Beautifully maintained grounds and exceptional customer service. Shower/restroom facilities are dated but spotlessly clean and functional. It's camping, not a five-star hotel.

A perfect stay on my one night in Bemidji; friendly, clean, safe. Everything we look for in a campground. I highly recommend this location.

I came up for a couple days to see some family. I came with the purpose to camp somewhere. I prefer camping but not so much nature. The sound of traffic helped me sleep. The fact that I was so close to town also made it a preferred spot for me. It was clean, and had a small summer camp vibe. I'll definitely stay again.

This campground is one of the cleanest and well taken care of KOAs we have been to. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. We put this one at to top of our list of places to go back to.

There was no info about local attractions, including info about one of the more iconic things the town of Bemidji is known for. Staff seemed indifferent, and couldn't provide accurate directions to a famous Bemidji landmark, which is located in a city park. Apparently local maps are unavailable? Campground was clean, although a bit noisy due to it's location.

I don’t know why some of the tent sites have a regular plugin, while others need an adapter that I’d have to go out and buy; thought that was odd. Friendly staff, made sure we had what we needed, and the place was clean!

Nicely maintained camping area, store with just what what you may need, everything really clean and a friendly host even with our later check-in. Nice camp decor and welcoming environment, was comfortable for us, felt safe and again nice, kind host. Would come again if traveling through that area.

This place was very good actually. Sure, it’s kind of in a business area now, but it’s convenient and easy to access. I felt secure in my tent, and it was plenty quiet for sleeping. The staff was phenomenal! Excellent service by everyone. The pool looked good and they still have a game room. The mini golf needs a bit of attention probably, but nothing that can’t be fixed. I will come back

Felt safe with the gates in place. Had wonderful hosts greet me. Pool was enjoyable. Bathrooms were clean and decorated beautifully. Communication texts were appreciated.

Loved it! Little gentleman Julian was great he was so nice to out 4 and 1 year old girls. He also made me and my wife laugh multiple times. But overall great clean place. Recommend it for sure. We drove to itasca park an the headwaters only 30 min away.

I mostly enjoyed my stay. It was a little tricky getting the shower and the sinks to produce warm water, but I did figure it out.

Fantastic place to stay. We stayed for four days and had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and there were a ton of amenities for everyone. I would definitely recommend.

This is a very basic KOA. It has all of the usual offerings, nothing noteworthy. EXCEPT for the owner and his staff. They weren’t genuinely friendly and went above and beyond in ensuring I had everything I needed.

Everything was nicely set up for those traveling with a tent as well as those in RVs. I felt safe and looked after should the need arise during bad weather season.

First night was relaxing and quiet. Staff was very friendly. We got rained out the next morning so we ended up leaving. But overall a great place to stay.

We're from MI on a little ride-about on the motorcycles and happened to land in Bemidji. Our two days at the Bemidji KOa turned into four. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the campground very clean Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks!

I just stayed overnight. So, I cannot tell much about anything but the hot, powerful shower. I have to give it a 5-star rating since 6-star wasn’t available!

We truly enjoyed our stay the only issue we had was in the middle of the night we could hear on neighbors like arguing and other than that we had a great day and I recommend it anytime

The pool was refreshing after a long day, bathrooms were clean, showers had plenty of pressure and the owners were amazing! I enjoy talking with them and they were very helpful when I had questions.

We booked two nights in a 2 room camping cabin. It was nice and comfortable. We went in Sept, so having the heat was nice. Bring your own linens. Campfire wood can be delivered to your site just $14 for two bundles. The camp kitchen was nearby and very handy to have. The bathrooms are decent with very hot water for a refreshing shower! Overall it was a very inexpensive camping trip. We love the camping cabins because they are a nice cross between camping and have the luxury of an actual bed. You rough it a little without sacrificing your sleep. Overall would recommend!

Family owned and operated and it shows!! Very welcoming and they will even deliver wood directly to your site! We tent camped for 3 nights and had the perfect spot close to all the amenities. Clean bathrooms and showers too!
