Staff very friendly and helpful. Campground located conveniently close to the interstate, but yet highway noise wasn’t bad. Campgrounds were clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed being near the highway to have a one night stay on the way to Wyoming for FMCA convention. Wish we could’ve hd time to check out the 1880 Town at the exit off the highway. It’s very cool that they have a little restaurant in the office and will DELIVER to your camp site! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Love this place. Right off highway, the people are very nice and accommodating. Maybe a little dated but clean. My second time stopping here and will stop back in my way east.

Stayed for 2 nights on our travels to Yellowstone National Park. Very friendly staff and great cooks! Never had a food delivered to our site before and we were not disappointed.

We camp in a 41’ fifth wheel. long gravel pull thru. It was long enough to detach and park in front of RV. There was gas close by. We did not appreciate the high speed bumps (4 of them) on the entry road. Really over the top for a gravel/dirt road.

Good service-lead us to our site. made us a pizza and brought it to our site even though the weather was turning bad with high winds. Even though this campground is in the middle of nowhere, they were trying hard to make it appealing and accommodating.

Just an overnight on our way to the Badlands, but we found the staff friendly and efficient, the laundry clean and spacious, and the grounds well maintained.

Convenient location to the highway with no road noise. Well kept grounds and nice dog run. Not as pretty as some KOAs we’ve stayed at, but we would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends. Staff was professional and friendly.

This our second time staying here we stay one night on our way to the black hills. We were in site eleven full hookups large side yard. Had a double cheeseburger from the kitchen very juicy lots of cheese. Staff very friendly and helpful will definitely be returning in the future.

A bad windstorm came up, ant they quickly accommodated an extra night. I didn’t use the laundry, but restrooms were nice and clean. Super helpful staff

Great staff and fun stay! Spots are very nice and this location is a perfect stop before heading into Rapid City if you're crossing west or if you need a break before heading East across South Dakota.

Sites are large and well spaced. Great dog walk areas and the cafe food was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store had a generous supply of RV replacement parts.

Even tho I had made my reservation 5+ months ago they had given my spot away by the time i showed up at 4 pm. I was given a “premium” spot instead, which didn’t have a concrete pad to park on, any shade trees, and now the sun shined right in the living area windows. The bright spot was the dinner we ordered from their kitchen. Exc salad, decent pizza. Friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. Nice spacious sites. Very comfortable furniture at our site which was a concrete patio site with a concrete slab for the rv. Quiet place.

we love belvidere! the cafe is such a great thing to have available. sorry we can’t stop on our return trip tho, cause it’s after oct 1 �� could do without flies and speed bumps, but, otherwise, perfection!!! thank you!

The smell from the sewage plant or sewage pond was all we could think about during our one night stay. We didn't see the campground the next day, we were only interested in getting back on the road and away from the smell.

Of the five or so KOA's along western South Dakota along I-90 this is your best choice especially if you are car/tent camping. Many of the campgrounds along I- 90 here are not much more than parking lots for RV's. We found this KOA superior in many ways. This WAS supposed to be our stop for the gateway to the Black Hills. Unfortunately, we ran out of daylight a 100 miles eastward. So we visited in the early morning before anyone was awake. It was mostly empty as we were in the very early part of the season but it was evident we had missed out on a great campground. We visited May 2023.

What a great overnight stay. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They also serve dinner delivered to the RV...my wife is STILL raving about the spaghetti. 1880 Old Town in just down the road and well worth a visit.
