"We have always enjoyed camping and now we own a place that we hope will allow our guests to enjoy camping as much as we have."
"Both of our families grew up camping," says Michael Joyner, who, along with his wife Stephanie, owns and operates the Beaver, Utah KOA Kampground. "We both started out in tents, moved to tent trailers, then on to trailers and then into motor homes. We have always enjoyed camping and now we own a place that we hope will allow our guests to enjoy camping as much as we have."
Beaver is a great hub. It's located so that guests can visit several state and national parks or just travel a few miles for great outdoor activities.
Michael says, "Through hard work, we want to continue to make our Beaver KOA a clean, beautiful and fun place for us and all of our guests!"
After spending years in business in the big city, the Joyners decided it was time for a change, although their personal skills are perfect for the business of campground management. "Stephanie's strong points are computers and electronics, while I enjoy improving the park and working with people," says Michael.
