Place quite ok, but could use some renovation. Unfortunately, the manager of the desk is not friendly, she gives the impression that she doesn't like her job. $4 extra per child is not very family friendly. This is not a KOA experience.

We stayed at an RV campground in San Diego the night before at a much higher price and found that the facilities at this KOA in Barstow was significantly better in terms of the quality of the hookups and the facilities. It was a very friendly campground as well. Nice people working the registration and well done in terms of customer service.

We full time in a 41’ fifth wheel. We stayed here 2 separate times on our to and from Joshua Tree NP. Our first site had no shade (site 20), our second site (24) was nicely shaded. The site was a long pull thru with FHU. We did not have to detach. We would stay here again.

We always enjoy our say at your KOA. The last few times we noticed that the shower area need sone attention.

Stayed 1 night on a stopover and went to the Calico ghost town. The spot was fairly level gravel, and enjoyed the table and trees. The lanes were a little narrow with some vehicles protruding. Nice stopover though.

Friendly helpful staff. Always stay there when on a long trip to take care of my RV. Also stay as a starter trip. Always has a spot for my pull through requirements. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Amenities kept up.

May 25, 2023 Thursday, there was no power or water to the restrooms/showers by the tent camping area. Otherwise it was a very nice area. My dog and I enjoyed the fenced dog area.

Efficient and friendly staff. The store is well stocked. The bag dispenser in the dog park was empty the entire time we were there, although the dispensers throughout the park were full.

Great stay as always, the unisex show needs an update. Found out something new, the cool train caboose they have out front is not just for show, you can rent it out. It's pretty cool. We got to take a look inside, it has a huge tv, futon, an apt size fridge, microwave, keurig, dining table and 2 bunk beds. And it has 2 look out chairs above the bunks. No bathroom but theirs is like 50 ft away

Generally a nice place. Great pool; nice location; nice general store; good wifi; good cell signal; good parking location for our trailer. In our drive-through site the sewer hookups are positioned too far forward meaning either our tow vehicle would stick out into the next driveway, or we would have to park behind our trailer. Shower stalls rather small and need more hanger hooks.

Facility was clean. Dog park area was clean and large. One thing that seemed lacking was the strength of the electrical. It could have been due tot eh extreme weather heat and too many rigs using the electric for air conditioning. Personal was friendly

Great location! Very nice campground. Office is stocked well. Camp site is pull thru and very clean! Great campground! Dale was so helpful! We are grateful to him. We had trouble with our truck getting stuck and Dale was so kind and helped!

Large pull in sites. Clean and quiet park. Close to Calico Ghost Town and off road 4x4 park. Easy on and off the Freeway. Motorhomes can be re-fueled just up the road.
