I would rate recommending this campground higher except it was very pricey for what you got. Sites were relatively level, but the area I was in just had grass roads. The bathrooms always seemed dirty, but I’m sure much of that had to do with nonstop fog and humidity. Unisex baths and especially showers make me uncomfortable.

We we’re on a pull thru loop right by the water and it was very busy with people, walking, riding bicycles and a camp ground golf cart driving around dragging kids in little colors carts and ringing a cow bell. No sewer! We didn’t use any facilities as we were only there for two nights. Jane was very helpful getting us to our space and making sure we were setup! Very expensive .for what we g

This location was amazing! The site itself was breathtaking even in the Maine fog. The communication about the cafe hours, shuttle, and firewood is like no other campground I’ve stayed at (and we travel cross country a lot). The only thing that would make this place even better is to provide separate men’s and women’s showers. As a female, I was very uncomfortable taking a shower where men

This place is one of the best rv park ‘ KOA I’ve stayed at ! Very clean and the staff is super friendly . The views of the ocean unbelievable- never camped so close to the ocean before ! Truly memorable and I will go back .

We had a great trip to Bar Harbor and enjoyed our stay at the KOA. The ability to step Oceanside and take in the view was amazing. Our only hiccup during our stay came when our daughter’s bike was stolen from our campsite, but we realize there is only so much that can be done to prevent theft and we let our guard down too.

No Pool is a major reason for the 3. Sites are extremely small. Young kids cruising unsupervised on electric scooters made us swerve off road to avoid hitting them. Staff wad amazing!

Great park in a great location. The staff is absolutely top notch! They are very accommodating and helpful with anything that you could need. I love the evening text messages asking if you need anything before the close the store for the night.

I loved the ocean view - would try for a water front site next time. The spots are very open with very little privacy between sites but for me the ocean proximity was more important. The text message updates and kids activities were great. Communication and staff attentiveness was great. And for the staff working the store - they were very friendly and accommodating to my 3 kids.

Very friendly staff. Very nice campground with beautiful sunsets. Plus they will come and dump your tanks at your site for a small fee.

We love returning to the Bar Harbor KOA every time. The setting is beyond amazing with waterfront sites that can't be matched anywhere else. The services and amenities are above and beyond and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We continue to highly recommend this KOA and are already looking forward to our next visit!

First time at a KOA & we were very impressed. Trash pickup, lots of hot water, delivery of firewood & food, friendly staff, very clean facilities & awesome ocean views. Couldn’t be happier! Will be back again!

The staff was so very pleasant and helpful. And those involved in the train rides for the kids were very enthusiastic and fun. We laughed every time they drove by. Cost was pretty high. No pool (?). Bathrooms were more rustic than at other KOA’s. Site was ok but cramped.

The location is great. However, the price is outrageous. When two adults come to stay at your park, $88 is easy to much for a grassy site with water and electric. No sewer. We do not get anything out of the amenities for the kids. KoA needs to start taking that into consideration. I'm sure that you feel there are plenty of people out there to get money from, but you only get it once.

Loved this place. Didn’t have a waterfront but we could still see the ocean. Clean campsite and shower rooms. Sites were decent size. Friendly staff. Laundry room was clean . Great views of water all throughout the park. Friendly campers

Stayed at an Oceanside Cabin during our Acadia explorations. We were very impressed with these accommodations and the view of the water. Taking one star off for the noisy road right by these cabins. The rest of the campground was peaceful and lovely. You'd think for the price we were paying the noise would have been minimal.
