We enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July holiday! Thank you for the recommendations on places to visit along the coast!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

So happy you were able to extend your vacation to stay thru the 4th of July. Lots of small town celebration!
Jul 06, 2013
It was clean and kept up very nice. Camp host was not very friendly though.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Uh oh...seems during the 4th of July rush we point and direct trying to get everyone situated. Apologies.
Jul 06, 2013
great friendly management, only it WAS the FIRST time ever it was brought to our attention we were a few minutes late in moving out at 11;00am checkout time. Was 11:15, even high dollar hotels allow a little more leeway.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yikes! Fourth of July holiday weekend with so many folks moving in and out, park was full. Sorry if we offended, we wanted to make sure there was no error in leaving date as the site was re-rented.

Nice campsite plenty of room between neighbors. Staff friendly, and helpful. Advertise free wifi but no signal kept going in and out.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As on our website, HughesNet is the only wifi available in our area and will not support large downloads, movies, games, or music. HughesNet disconnects and then reconnects if broadband is exceeded. Wish we had another provider available.

Nice wooded site great for tents. Wifi useless not a 4g area either. Would not recommend if internet is important

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Wifi cannot be your main objective here for sure. You can check emails, Facebook, etc. but no movie watching or game playing. Guess you gotta play in the pool instead. Sorry!

very nice. Felt comfortable.

KOA means Komfort! New slogan...

The park and the crew were wonderful. The grounds were well taken care of. It was a real camp in the deep woods. The train they have for the kids showed lots of excitement. Bathrooms and laundry were immaculate. Would highly recommend this delightful park to the world.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Woot Woot! The kids (and adults) love that old train. There are pictures of it in the Coos County museum!!

Loved the fairyland feel, the staff was awesome, the camp was quiet and very clean!

We stayed tow nights. The place was clean and the people were friendly, However the spaces were very tight getting in and out. The pool and spa were clean and the spa was hot. The cable was mostly on, but would go off and on several times a night. There were a lot of trees, so it was impossible for a dish or directv service. the play ground was one of the best I have ever seen and very clean.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Please be sure to let us know if there are cable problems. With so many hooking up and unhooking, sometimes the connection wears out. Glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

It was wonderful we even had pancake breakfast before we left. The grounds were so beautiful. Flowers everywhere. I would stay there again but hope I could spend more time there.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I have been cooking pancakes everyday Father's Day thru Labor Day for 25 years! Blackberries or strawberries with whipped cream are the topper.

Everything was really great, with one small exception. A little gravel to level out sites side to side is needed. We had a little leak around slide-out seal during the rain. Not a big deal, but might be worth looking at.

Absolutely perfect! Wooded privacy and great hosts. Only bad news: we had to move on.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As long as you move back this way....someday!

very nice setting and KOA is very close to west coast game safari which my family loves.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

West Coast Game Park....hold baby tigers, bears, lions...the list goes on.

It was so quiet and peaceful. We truly enjoyed the forest like atmosphere and the cleanliness plus upkeep of the grounds.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When we advertise camping in the trees, we mean it! Glad you enjoyed it.

Never stayed in a KOA with so many trees. Very large KOA. Good staff

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hope this is the first of many KOA's in your future!

Site not very level. Hot tub and pool were great

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

With our heavy rains we sometimes have to let things dry out a bit before bringing in gravel to level. Some years it seems like that takes forever! Glad you enjoyed the pool!
Jun 06, 2013
Very unlevel sites. Had to hunt for someone to check in and to use the store. Unleashed dogs attacked my dog while on a leash, no responce from the manager.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The small dog DID run out of the campsite to bark when passing by. No bites or injuries, owner advised to keep pet on leash even when in campsite. Sorry that the dog scared you.

This is a gorgeous serene forested setting and we had a true camping experience. All amenities worked well and our hosts were very nice and gave us a great recommendation for a lovely seafood dinner at the rustic Griff's in Port Orford.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Griff's is a terrific little eating spot on the dock. We're glad you enjoyed it and watching the fishing boats unload their catch.

Clean, quiet, pleasant. Great setting among the trees. Campsites have their own firepits! No wi-fi, cable TV could work better.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

l of 11. Gives a bit more variety.

I don't know whos is in charge of weather, but they should be shot!!! Other than that, it was GREAT!!! Max & Claudia are wonderful hosts and the campground is immaculate.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Oregon weather - ya gotta love it!

This resort is one if the best KOAs we have used. The sites are wooded and private, the pool and hit top are well maintained, they have a fabulous dog coral big enough to play fetch and. It is convenient to both Bandon and Port Orford attractions. We will definitely be back.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The dog park is a new addition to the park. Glad folks like it!

If you like secluded site this is the one. Lots of trees to make your site very private. W/Rooms/Showers very well kept and look newly redone.

Bad timing on our part. All the full hookups were taken. Sites are tight for a 39' motorhome with toad. Sites are not that level and the leveling was challenging. Staff was very good. Park is old and could use some updates to handle today's larger rigs.

Sorry for the delay in writing...we truly enjoyed our stay.....even though just one night...very nice kampground!
