Dusty roads, mosquitoes unbeilevable mot parks fault but hotendous, nice staff, great pancakes, close to Badlands NP.

We have been very wet this spring and summer, and we constantly battle the mosquitoes and sometimes they win! They seem to be winning this summer!

Very nice place. We stayed 2 nights no complaints at all. This place has a lot to offer for kids . Very clean facilities. I would stay here again.

First night ok. Second night mother nature decided to let it rain heavy with hail. Our truck and camper had damage. It rained so heavy that the morning we were leaving was very trying. Hard to get out of the camp site. After a few minutes a couple of the KOA staff came to help my husband get the camper out of the site without doing any more damage to our truck and camper.

Great location to the Badlands, Wall, Minuteman Missile Museum, and other surrounding area. Easy access in and out of park as well as the check in. Nice staff. Deluxe site was awesome!! Pool was open and nice. Well stocked camp store. Laundry rooms are busy and one on the eastern edge of the park was fine except only one of two washers was out of order and only one dryer.

The campground itself seemed nice. We were only there for one night. We traveled for 2 weeks at 8 different campgrounds and this was the only one we had major issues with mosquitoes at.

The spring and summer have been very hard on us for mosquitoes, so much rain this year, we are fighting them, but they seem to be winning! Thanks for the otherwise great review.

Dryers didn't dry, I guess they had problems, would have been nice to know before I used them.

We did need to shut off the gas because of a leak that day, we notified everyone via text of the issue. I assume you were reimbursed for the quarters.

A lot of rain, not their fault. No rug rule, no patio provided. Campsite was complete mud, 3 inches of water at camper step. No rug rule, no patio!!!!!!!!! Recent sewer work done on site, tried to pull out, camper sunk into trench. Pancake breakfast very unorganized. We were at window no menu up. Very very expensive campsite. $100 + for a? Probably won't stay at a KOA again. Thank

I sure hope you do not base all KOA's on the experience of an act of nature coming through and dumping all that rain and hail on the campground. You must have missed the menus hanging on the wall on the side of the cook shack.

Great KOA! Staff were helpful and friendly, especially the Camp Kitchen staff! Restrooms were a bit small. Bring your bug spray!!

We would have loved to have stayed but due to the impending severe weather, we had to leave. We enjoyed our stay, clean bathrooms and showers, activities. Our only problem was the bug situation and that was no fault of KOA. Employees were wonderful!

One of the nicest campgrounds we have been in. Been there 3 times would go back again. Level sights full hook ups easy in easy out.

Sites are cramped, our picnic table and fire pit were 3 feet from our neighbor’s sewer pipe. Needless to say, we didn’t spend much time outside. It’s close to entrance of Badlands NP. 4 stars because the people were so friendly, it was a good stop over while we visited the national park. The laundry facilities were clean and affordable.

Nice staff, well maintained campground, and good food. Plenty of activities for the family and nice laundry facilities. FYI... if you come in from Exit 131 off 90, you will need to pay entry fees to the Badlands National Park to drive through to the campground. We had the National Parks yearly pass so no big deal for us. We enjoyed our stay.

Yes sometimes the mosquitos can be vicious since we are surrounded by trees for shade, water, and farm lands, it is a battle to keep nature at bay.

Just spent one night there will passing thru. It’s right outside the badlands park. It was a nice place. Take what you need with you as this is fairly far out from services. There is a small store up the road but limited. Closest is Wall, SD which you should really go check out wall drug.

I have stayed here a couple of times and have always enjoyed the resort. This trip we stayed in the back section site 140 and loved it. I would have given you all 10 but when we checked in I had a small attitude from the older lady behind the counter. KOA has increased there prices so much I just cannot understand the need to charge me and extra $10.60 because I showed up an hour early.

Needed a campsite at the last minute due to a change of plans, and they cheerfully accommodated us. The campground was well maintained, the restrooms and showers as well. And they have nice shaded sites in an area that does not have many trees, and gets hot.

Nice place. Everything works good here. Laundromat and bath houses nice and clean. Clean pool. Good breakfast served. Quiet and clean.

What an absolute wonderful campground. The trees are lovely, the spaces are wide open, and it's just a wonderful relaxing place. Not your typical KOA by a long shot. Would stay again and recommend to friends.

Everything was wonderful. Great to have the cookhouse since there is not much at all in the neighborhood. Beautiful, clean, shady places, great pool and very conveniently located to visit Badlands NP.

Great place. Staff was really nice during our stay and the site is so close to the Badlands! Be sure to check out the night sky program at the park, so you can figure out what that green laser in the sky is.

Front desk lady was very rude. We showed up 20 minutes early and our site was ready but she still charged us an additional $10.40. The maintenance crew was driving around leveling the gravel making so much noise I couldn't even talk to my husband. Prices in the Kamp store where extremely high. Paying over $100 a night and having the staff make your stay worse was just terrible. We left early.

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!

3.5 stars - CABIN A/C UNIT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. It was a very hot outside (99) but for the price of cabins, the property owner(s) needs to invest in adequate units that are larger and work for weather extremes or store industrial fans for open window air movement. Getting up every two hours, to kick start an a/c unit, after being on the road for twelve hours, is NOT fun. :( The employees/management are very nice and the property is kept very clean. Bath-house (near) cabins was sparkling clean, which is always a big plus.
