What a fantastic location. So close to Badlands Ntl Park, and better than staying in the park. Better accommodation, everyone was extremely nice and helpful, and the grounds were well maintained. You will be happy you stayed here.

Patrick was exceptionally kind and helpful. He went the extra mile to help with starting our campfire! We enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the abundance of flies and mosquitoes!

We had a great stay…we were bummed we missed out first night, but what a great campground. Everything was very clean and maintained. Our site was great we loved the patio with the grill, place for a fire and outdoor furniture! The location of the campground is perfect! Highly recommend! We will be staying here the next time we are in The Badlands!!! Thank you!

For the high price of the stay, the amenities are sup par. Very small pool, mini golf was not well maintained, and the firewood was expensive and very wet, no wonder no was having bon fires at night. Bathrooms were clean, but small. The large chairs in each shower stall were not needed and made it difficult to get in and out. We will not stay here again or recommend to others.

I had a complaint. I wasn't going to say anything, but finally decided you wouldn't know unless I said something. I attempted to voice my complaint to Jane. She was not a good listener. She interrupted me multiple times and wanted to offer excuses as to why my complaint was not valid. I just wanted to be heard. I did not expect, nor did I want, anything to be done about it.

Sites a little tight but level. Fantastic amenities which makes exploring the area easy great location.

I’m glad I chose this campground over the one inside the National Park. This campground was nicely wooded and 4 miles to the NP. The KOA staff gave us a nice end spot with lots of trees and open space around us. This property seemed a little pricey but I’m sure it was due to the proximity to the national park.

Overall our stay was good. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Clean and beautiful area. Took 3 tries to find us a spot that fit our camper even though our reservation indicated what we wanted. Also, campfire wood was so wet could not even start a fire. Staff new firewood was wet yet was still selling unburnable wood for $9 per bundle and bundles were very small.

They were very accommodating. My mother was handicapped and they were able to switch our campsite. The bathrooms were very clean and the stay was perfect, breakfast was great!

We enjoyed our stay. The grounds were well kept, the staff was very friendly, and it was close to the things we wanted to do.

Best KOA we have ever stayed at,clean sites were good size,had lots of activities to do. Employees were very pleasant and helpfull. Would stay again.

Kate (pretty sure that was her name) at the store/check in was amazing. Super positive attitude and so nice. Then when we went to our site, my husband and I were looking at the doorway and noticing that it was quite muddy out the door. One of your KOA carts drove up and said they wanted to either put gravel there or move us to another site because of the mud. What great service!

Beautiful campground! Lots for the kids to do. Many amenities. Very clean and neat. Easy to find. We got the last spot and it was very near the Highway so road noise was constant. And our friend the mosquito visited. I would stay again. Front desk folks were very pleasant.

Absolutely a wonderful stay! From the moment we checked in until we left it was great! We actually didn’t want to leave. I love how the campground kept us informed with text updates. We experienced some bad weather, and it was very nice to know what to do and where to go from the texts. The staff were all super friendly too! If we ever travel back this way we will definitely be staying here!!

Very happy with our site, nice and level. Used the laundry room and it was clean and the machines worked well. Close to Badlands National Park which was really convenient.

This was a fun place to visit! They are very personable and made sure we had everything we needed. They do a great job of having activities for families!

Had a great stay, they served breakfast and dinner at just the right time. We had a major thunderstorm with record size hail, prior to the storm we were advised via text messaging of the tornado plan and where to evacuate to if needed. The camp sites were cleaned up after the storm hail shredded many of the leaves on the trees. The cleaning crews kept the bathrooms clean.

Friendliest campground we've ever stayed! Plenty of staff to assist and happy to bring down a branch if it blocked our awning, or lead you through a different way out if a big motorcoach was blocking the exit . They even served a hot free breakfast!

It was good. Would of been better if the rest of our party was next to us like we had picked. They were about 5 campsites from us. There was a discrepancy in the pricing from our party. The wifi didn't work, when acquired about it, they told us too many people on it. Also our cable was so fuzzy, couldn't use. Otherwise clean restrooms.

Sorry to hear about these issues. Just so you are aware, KOA does offer a "select my site" then you and your friends could have been assured to be next to each other.

When the other couple came with us in their camper, we made the reservations the exact same time, we were to be right next to each other and our bill was the same, when we arrived we were apart and I ended up paying more than them. She got a discount for the 2nd night and I did not. Brought it to their attention and it was to bad so sad.

Wifi did not work for nearly all of our stay. We ordered pizzas but it took over an hour and there was no communication on when they’d be done. Site was fine, playground was old and tired. Workers were friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!

3.5 stars - CABIN A/C UNIT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. It was a very hot outside (99) but for the price of cabins, the property owner(s) needs to invest in adequate units that are larger and work for weather extremes or store industrial fans for open window air movement. Getting up every two hours, to kick start an a/c unit, after being on the road for twelve hours, is NOT fun. :( The employees/management are very nice and the property is kept very clean. Bath-house (near) cabins was sparkling clean, which is always a big plus.
