Love this place for all the right reasons.

We had a cabin an the beds are way too hard. The bathrooms really need a fan because they are very hot and stuffy. We've stayed at the tent sites before and they are nice.

My wife's FAVORITE KOA!!! We will consider making a trip back to the area just to stay here. Very well maintained and lots of beautiful scenery!

Stayed six years ago and came back because of a great experience. Same again. Friendly and helpful staff and overall clean grounds and facility. Kids love wading in the river adjacent to the grounds. Close to Badlands NP.

There are three problems: 1.) The facilities are acceptable. However, the male bathroom looked like a bloodied crime scene. Needless to say, to avoid bloodborne pathogen problems, we had to find other bathroom/shower accommodations. 2.) The employees were downright rude. 3.) There are two ways to the campground--the LONG route through Rapid City OR you can pay to go through Badlands.

Thank you for your feedback. Our staff cleaned and sanitized that restroom as soon as we were made aware of the issue. The National Park does collect a fee from those visiting the park. However, if you are only using park roads to access the campground, there is no fee.

My 2 daughters and I had a fantastic experience at the KOA at the Badlands/White River in South Dakota. Everything was clean and in great condition. It was a very nice touch that we were given a free package of hash browns when we arrived as well. I will recommend you to everyone I know!
