Clean, well-lighted and maintained rest-rooms set up common to KOAs. Cookhouse was very basic and not organized for dietary restrictions. Stayed on night in route home

The site we stayed at was substandard to say the least

Your reservation was made on-line, you selected an electric only site. We would have been happy to upgrade you to a full hook up site had you said you wanted to upgrade, you did not give up an opportunity to make you happy. Next time you are unhappy let someone know at the time.

The CG was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were immaculate. We will definitely visit again.

The best thing about our stay was the food available for purchase. The person who manned the store and checked us in was not very friendly or welcoming. Although Cable TV was advertised when we didn't get it and asked, we were told that they hadn't gotten to our site yet. Don't advertise something you don't have.

Beautiful campground, sites are a bit close, but we spent the days exploring the area, so not a big deal. Great/friendly staff took good care of us (even when we had to modify our dates).

New to camping and this was our maiden voyage. We stayed at 5 campgrounds on this trip and koa was our least favorite Sites are two close together. The person who led us to our site was very friendly. Check in didn’t seem welcoming but it was busy. Likely will not stay at a koa again.

We had a great stop. The showers were good and warm. They offered breakfast at a kiosk and the prices were reasonable. The gift shop was sparse but it is almost the end of season so understandable. I would recommend.

Great location! We had a great site BUT the sand spurs were awful! Our dog couldn’t walk in the grass because of them so we had to keep her on the rocks when we took her out. The spurs would come in on our shoes too. Painful prickly things to deal with. Supposedly you can use a post-emergence herbicide to fight mature sandburs, and a pre-emergence herbicide to prevent them early in the season

Very nice campground. Extremely close to the Badlands. The staff is friendly and helpful. Having the Cook Shack was convenient. Love the phone booth, more rare than a certified Big Foot sighting!

Everything worked, great Wi-Fi, convenient onsite "cook shack". Decent pullthru site with some shade. It's not far from Badlands National Park, be sure to go ear at the Wagon Wheel Bar in city of Interior, SD.

This is a peaceful place to stay, with a lovely pool, miniature golf, and plenty of activities. A cool oasis with trees in an arid region, and so very quiet! Great internet and cable. Spaces are a bit close together. No AT&T cell reception. Food is a distance away. It would be nice if the KOA carts obeyed the 5 MPH speed limit! I'd definitely return here again. We were very relaxed when we left.

clean, friendly, quiet, peaceful place! Only thing to complain about was the bugs...which the campground was fogging for the day we checked out :)

We booked our stay a few days before we arrived. There is two of us campers traveling together, and we told them we wanted to be together. The lady on the phone said we would be across from each other. When we arrived, the older gentleman checking us in, said we should have paid extra to be together. We weren't offered that option when we booked our reservation. Very disappointed.

We are sorry for the confusion on this. It appears that even if you had paid the select my site fee, we still might not have been able to accommodate you as your wished, that was a holiday period and we may not have been able to move others around to accommodate you.

Close to Badlands park. Nice clean restrooms and laundry. Glad to swim in the pool as it was very hot! Friendly staff.

Loved the shady dog park with the swing! Putt Putt area needs some attention. Staff very nice. Looks like improvements and updates are ongoing.

The usual KOA journey, nice folks, gravel, store and clean facilities. Propane was out so had to find on the road. Few trash cans scattered about. Mosquitoes were very bad but that’s nature. If you are going to see the badlands, this KOA is ten miles away on a windy road. Closer options available.

Thanks for the review. However, we are a straight shot and 5 miles from the Interior entrance to the Badlands National Park. IF you come to us from I-90, then we are 15 miles from that exit and you do come through the National Park.

Friendly staff, the food chef at the kamp kitchen was excellent! Pancakes, bacon, Buffalo burgers deserve 5 star rating. The pool depth markings need immediate repair, we thought the depth was 4 ft, turns out it was 7 ft, the label was missing. Our site was nice, but no fire ring, bit of a disappointment. Would definitely stay again!

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!

3.5 stars - CABIN A/C UNIT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. It was a very hot outside (99) but for the price of cabins, the property owner(s) needs to invest in adequate units that are larger and work for weather extremes or store industrial fans for open window air movement. Getting up every two hours, to kick start an a/c unit, after being on the road for twelve hours, is NOT fun. :( The employees/management are very nice and the property is kept very clean. Bath-house (near) cabins was sparkling clean, which is always a big plus.
