This campground seems to have plenty of staff to keep the property clean, comfortable, and safe. The ambience was welcoming, store well stocked, amenities plentiful. The location is favorable. The standard RV sites are very close together and small- not enough room for vehicle. Rates have gone up. Cable did not work

The camp was very clean and organized with ample room between RV's. We were at many sites for 3 weeks and this was the best site of all. Along with that, the staff was great!

The facilities are always clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The site is located in a great place. You can ride a bicycle to the beach

This was our first time staying here and it was amazing!! From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, everyone was as so helpful and went above and beyond. I loved the pet area and how everything was so clean!

Was a one night, quick stop over and we checked in late... despite the short duration, I have to admit that I am impressed by the infrastructure, amenities and space of the facility. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, given the need for a late arrival. Could have foreseen staying longer and enjoying, would definitely recommend to others & look forward to visiting other KOA sites

We were only able to spend one day at that campsite, but it was very nice was very clean and where we were located was in close proximity to just about everything we needed overall was a very nice day. The staff was very nice and the store was nice as well.

We loved it! The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and always smiling. The campground was clean, well apportioned and well maintained. We will definitely return.

The location is great; next door to Avila Hot Spring, Avila Valley Barn and easy access to Bob Jones Trail allows you to access Avila Beach very conveniently. Facility is clean and well maintained. The laundry machine with credit card reader was not easy to use. Coin operated machine would be easier.

REALLY LOVELY CAMPGROUND from the minute we pulled in, to the minute we pulled out. Friendly & helpful staff, amenities, very clean grounds, pool, bathrooms, etc. The store is great. It's right across from Avila Barn & down the road from Avila Beach, but the campground offers enough to do, that we just wanted to hang out there. I would give this a rating of 100 stars if I could.

Sites are very close to each other. There are plenty of things to do in the park and nearby. Highlights included proximity to the beach and the Bob Jones trailway which is paved. Staff are friendly, but sites are too close together.

Very peaceful except at night when the freeway noise was noticeable. Great pool, dog walk and pancake amenities. Very nice shop and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again to get out of the summer heat.

Spaces are too small, then there are instructions to park vehicle within space and not over lap into road, a difficult task at best. People running the office/store were very pleasant and helpful.

the KOA employees were very helpful and friendly... however the park was made when traveling people had small trailers and vehicles. everything is cramped up, for the rates charged, besides the noise from the HWY 101..pain in the butt trying to park and leave.

First and foremost, I’d like to give a shout out to Lisa. So helpful and personable. They’ve done some upgrades since the devastation of flooding from this winter, but the showers/restrooms could use some work. Weather was a blessing since we came from bakersfield and even being in the middle of a “parking lot” didn’t deter our caravan from having a great time.

Very welcoming staff, very clean sites, staff takes great care of the grounds, dog park excellent, very clean and responsible owners. Only downside is spots are very cramp and squeezed in. We weren’t sure we would be able to pull out without bothering people.

The campground itself was quite nice, however I have never entered a campsite that I didn’t feel welcomed at until our stay here. We drive a camper van that we are quite proud of after spending many months and hours into building. Upon booking, we received a phone call saying that if we built our own van our reservation would immediately be cancelled. We ended up having to set up our tent instea

Great location (although there is some freeway noise but you don't notice it much), friendly staff, clean facilities, and overall well run. Sites are small and you are right next to your neighbors, but everyone was respectful and quiet during quiet hours. We will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here multiple times, and it just keeps getting better and better every time! The park has seen multiple improvements since we were here last and looks brand new with larger patio areas, new chairs/picnic benches, and updated decor. They even expanded the size of the dog area by almost double during our stay. The employees are amazing and everything is super clean - you'll love it!

The staff was helpful, the playground area is set up nicely for kids to play and there’s a dog park for dogs. Overall the place is clean and everyone is helpful. It was a nice stay!

We were lucky enough to get one of the giant sites on the north side of the park and loved it. The extra space was so nice. Some of the sites can be a little tight but the newly expanded patio sites are the best. We are already looking to see when we can come back. The campground host also make a lot of difference and the staff there now was so great as t to deal with. Everyone was very nice. Than

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
