fantastic! Very very very clean. We had a deluxe spot. The propane BBQ was spotless. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help and do whatever it took to meet your needs. The best little dog park I have ever seen. Super clean showers and bathrooms. Great location in the middle of everything. I am spoiled to any other campground now!!!! We ve been welcomed perfectly with tips to visit the area. Plenty of amenities and a perfect playground and pool for kids.

The staff was friendly and the location was clean, but the spots were so so so tight, and the location was packed. We almost weren’t able to get our rig out because the cars were parked in the aisles.

We are locals we camp here often (I know the spots are tight). First time ever I had a spot I could not only not utilize the "provided" picnic table, but could not even sit outside and enjoy our trip. Our RV was FAR too big for the spot we were given. And not a single care or concern from staff....it is what it is mentality. Disappointed for the first time!!! Sad cause we usually love it here!

The freeway is very loud but that’s to be expected with how close it is. Location is good. Bathrooms can use some updating. It appears they’re just painting over the mold and rust instead of replacing it. Nice large pool and spa but very crowded with the campground being full. Good stay, will return.

Very friendly staff on site. We feel very welcome here from their great smile, warm cookies on arrival, and a small popcorn at the family movie night. The facility is very clean and has enough restroom stalls. We did not try the shower there but it’s available. Will come here again if we visit this town again.

We had such a great time! The staff is very friendly, they even helped us park our rig so our marriage wasn’t compromised �! The park is very clean and the sites are very nice! We will definitely be back!

Short stay but as always enjoyed our time at Avila KOA. Wonderful people, park clean, love the dog park and surrounding area.

We love that the KOA is maintained so well. It’s very clean and quiet after 10PM. We appreciate that an employee guides you to your side and guides you into the narrow campsite. Our only complaint is that the sites are too close together. There is very little space to even park your vehicle.

Our first visit to this KOA. It was very clean and quiet (except street noise). The only reason I didn’t rate higher is that the sites for RV’s and trailers are very narrow. And it’s pricey.

We had a premium site, and we loved it. The patio in the back with the propane bbq and fire pit were awesome! Even though the spaces are closer together as mentioned in the other comments, it was still peaceful and quiet. Didn’t bother us a bit. The pool was clean, game room was clean, bathrooms/showers were clean, and it’s only a 7 min drive to the city of Avila where you have good food choic

Nice, level, well maintained campsite. The entire campground was very well taken care of. Showers/bathrooms very clean. The staff were friendly and engaging. We will definitely try to stay here in the future.

These sites were pretty small and we were right up against our neighbors. We also heard plenty of freeway noise. But those two issues are mentioned right up front on the website, to be fair. We did miss one of our morning swims because the caretaker forgot to flip over the sign, so we thought the pool was closed. Nights were nice and quiet.

One of our favorite campgrounds, very clean and well managed. The pool and jacuzzi, with adjacent playground and outdoor games, are well tended. The staff was extremely friendly to take our reservation and check-in. The store offers a good selection of basic necessities and gifts. We also enjoyed the game room for some fun in the evening. Movie nights and pancake breakfasts are great for families

Great location close to Avila Beach, Bob Jones Bike trail and also convenient to Pismo Beach and SLO. Spaces are a little tighter then some KOAs but the facilities are first rate.

Very nice place and was very convenient to Avila and pismo beach. We were there for a truck show at the Avila beach golf course and couldn’t have been happier with our site.

We loved our stay! Everybody is so friendly and welcoming. Love the welcome cookie, recommendations, facilites! We will definitely be back. The only thing we didn't like was how much chlorine was in the pool. My 4 year old was crying because her eyes were burning so bad. I am not sure if that could be adjusted but we would appreciate that.

Great location for biking, hiking, golfing, and shopping for the shoppers. Clean facilities, updated men’s restroom, pool well maintained, a first class place.

Excellent, except for the next space sporatic awful sewage emissions at the front of the site, near our picnic table. Filled our trailer as well. Sprayed the trailer. We rebooked a different space.

The young lady who took my reservation was outstanding and so helpful. I’d been driving for four n half hrs, tired and unsure of the exit and she gave me the exit number and directions. The campground is clean, well maintained, sites large and laid out w small fences. Had an escort to my site and he directed me as I backed in, what service!! And the complimentary cookie at check in was a nice

We had a wonderful time. The pool was perfect. The place was packed and the spaces are very very small. The bathroom was very moldy. Black mold on all of the shower walls.

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
