It was a pleasant weekend. KOA staff made it an easy check in. The campground was clean, including the bathrooms. We will definitely be back!

Nice and clean and the only thing I found that I didn’t like was it the traffic noise . Since I’m a lite sleeper it was hard for me to sleep with the traffic noise.

The staff was amazing. All were so helpful to us. The location is great. The sites are a bit narrow for a big rigs. That would not stop us from staying there again.

One of the most friendly and helpful staff we've interacted at at any campground. Very nice location and in good shape considering the recent damaging weather. Once all the amenites are fully operational and the weather returns to normal, will be beautiful. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

The camp ground was closed due to flooding, the team was cleaning up the debris. San Luis Port had just kicked my out without a refund due to the camp host not understanding an injection black tank system in my RV. I had been driving all day and needed a place to stop over for just the night. Although closed, Julie made an exception and let me stay! I am so grateful there are still good people!

Our stay was only one night on the way to our final destination but it was great. We were traveling with a 9 & 5 year old and there was a lot for them to do. Even the pool was heated in January and the game room was fun for the kids

We really enjoyed our stay at Avila KOA. Lisa was great at check in, as was the nice man who showed us to our site and helped us back our motor van into our spot. The facility was clean and secure, with a nice store for provisions. They even had free chocolate chip cookies at check in!

Absolutely love the small cabins! Perfect size and next to the pool and dog park. Staff was very friendly. Love the gift shop office. Close to everything! Loved staying there!

Customer service people, all four of them, soooo amazing!!! Most helpful with our stay, amazing campground, would have come back but the weather made us go home.

The stay was fantastic!! Every time we have been there it has been great! The staff was wonderful!! Very friendly, very accommodating, We will definitely make a return visit! We have stayed here at the Avila/Pismo Beach KOA about 4 times and every time has been wonderful. We do miss the wine tasting and the free movies and the New Year's Day breakfast but... we understand, change is good TY

We had a great time, unfortunately it rained most of our week. The staff was great and very accommodating to our needs. The price per night had went up from our last stay which was a bit steep but other than that we really loved our site. Thank you to the entire staff keeping the park clean and inviting.

The campsite we were put in had a slight drop off witch caused us to have to pull forward more then normal to get the trailer level. Also the amount of dead trees and leaves made it very hard to walk around the back of the trailer. During our stay multiple trees limbs did fall into our sight. Other than those issues we had a blast. Loved the game room and the staff was great and so welcoming!

This was our second time staying at the Avila/Pismo KOA. We love it here. Friendly staff, clean and quiet. We’ll be back!

Didn’t get one of the sites we requested- our trailer barely fit in the site we got. Not room to park our truck at our own site. We are usually happy with our stay but left the day before our scheduled departure.

We loved it here! The hosts were FABULOUS! The campground is spotless, the restrooms were really clean and the location was great. We will definitely be back and we'll stay longer next time. Best, Julie Sherry

The grounds look great and hospitality was wonderful, we'll definitely be coming back again, we have been coming over there for the last 4 or 5 yrs and really enjoy it.

My family enjoyed our stay, my cabin was nice and cozy. I enjoyed the bike trail which is a short beautiful ride the the beach. I will return.

The campsite I had was very narrow and had three sewer manholes in the site which made us smell all the sewer for the campground for the whole weekend. For the price of 100 a night I expected more

The gals running the check in were so friendly. During my stay I was called to see if we were going to show up (we were already there). They had two reservations for me. I had changed the first reservation (edited spot) and then failed to cancel the first one. My card was charged and then credited. They did fix it. The sites are so close together sideways we could barely park our tow truck.

We pulled our 37’ 5th wheel into the park 15 min to closing in pouring rain and severe wind! We were greeted with smiles, cookies, dog treats, then guided to our site! Clean, friendly, very well kept! Will be back!

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
