Great location with tons for the kids to do. Nice pools and hot tub. Great activities and really quiet at night. We had a fantastic 4 night stay.

The kids had a great time! The camp activities and the pool was their favorite part. I was disappointed in the customer service but when I complained I was taken care of. We would return here but I will know what to expect regarding the customer service on our next trip.

Poor Wi-Fi service. Otherwise everything else was great.
Jul 10, 2017
Stay was very attentive. Bathrooms and showers cleaned frequently.

This was the largest KOA we have ever stopped at. Lots of amenities but the site needed some work flattening it out. Our RV tilted due to soft dirt. The morning pancakes were great and a lot to do. Lots of families staying here and staff was great.

Wonderful place to stay if you have a family and or plan to stay long enough to take advantage of the amenities. Otherwise, it's too expensive.

Excellent place for family's, great resort and camping fun. The pools where wonderful, the kids loved the free pancakes and making the shirts and masks. BFB was loads of fun. Plenty of space for the RV and greeted right as we arrived.

We absolutely loved it! Will be coming back as soon as we can to stay longer!

We have stayed at this KOA countless times - always a great experience. This time there weren't nearly as many activities, seemed woefully understaffed, the restaurant was out of a lot of their standard offerings - lost out on a lot of business, the ice cream cooler is still broken (we were there last year the day it broke so we know it has been a year!), overall rundown. Very disappointed.

We felt the price was high for how crowded it was, lack of privacy in sites, lack of maintenance in sites, and most facilities/activities were run down and not clean. Blackberry bushes were not cut back in the sites, lawn was not mowed through the entire site and there was a smell of sewer throughout the day that made being outside in our site not very pleasant.

Great family vacation spot!
Jul 09, 2017
Trees everywhere prevented satellite usage. Trees too close to parking pad. Scratched side of new RV. Pull through way to short of my RV, no space to park tow vehicle

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes we do have trees around the top half of our campground. trimming them is an ongoing process. Lee

Amenities for kids were great but actual campsite left a lot to be desired

Good campground and excellent kids activities/facilities. Only negative being poor grass/dirt in many sites.
Jul 08, 2017
From the beginning to the end the staff is very helpful with what ever is needed. My family will be back.
Jul 08, 2017
There was a strong smell of sewer around the campground. It seemed like the sewage system was back drafting. At one point my sewer connection began whistling as gas escaped. I had never experienced that in my years of RVing. Good base for area sightseeing with a good beach across the road where you can drive on the sand with a 4x4. Would ensure I had a better site in the park before returning.
Jul 08, 2017
This campground is awesome. Lots of activities and sites are big. Only minor issue was the wifi at our site wasn't working.
Jul 08, 2017
Mosquitoes were horrible at our site. Facilities were well maintained

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are located in the wettest county in Oregon. Mosquitos are a part of the eco system . Lee

Mosquitos drove us away

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Clatsop county has the most wet lands of all the oregon counties. Mosquitoes are part of the wet land ecosystem. An old remedy for keeping mosquitos at bay is 4 days before a camping trip drink a tablespoon of apple cider organic non filtered vinegar 3 times a day.

The customer services was outstanding our entire stay, we will definitely be returning.

Stayed at your camp many times, although this time we were given a spot in the 400 section. The sewage smell coming from the RV sewage holes was horrible. We actually had to bungee plastic bags around them. Our neighbors also acknowledged that it was pretty unbearable. We will be back though...gotta have those Wheelhouse ribs!

We arrived at the Koa and had to add an extra night to our stay because it was booked incorrectly. This was not an issue except we had to move to a new site 2 spaces down which was a hassle. It did not seem very flexible when it came to changing the reservation. This is a large KOA and had great things for kids to do however it is so large not all the staff knows the ins and outs.

We are sorry for your poor experience. We can do better. Lee

We come to the Warrenton/Astoria KOA at least 4 times a summer. We love you!! Great staff, great sites, tons for the kids to do! Thank you!!!
Jul 06, 2017
My kids love this KOA. So many things for them to do. It's so expensive that we think we won't be able to return and then we have so much fun and it's a little easier to swallow the price. I think charging for kids 10-18 and charging a daily resort fee is kinda double dipping.
Jul 06, 2017
Thought they ran the site very well. Loved our stay.
Jul 06, 2017
Nice campground.
Jul 06, 2017
Awesome camp ground cant wait to go back
Jul 06, 2017
This KOA is huge with lots of activities for kids and families. The location is central and remote enough that we saw two elk. Bathrooms are an issue. We were in the back and there were only two working showers. It is a long walk to the toilet.
Jul 06, 2017
Very nice, but not enough bathrooms when you are placed in the North Jetty. Need twice as many stalls & showers there.
Jul 06, 2017
The site is clean and well maintained. Our site was nice and located near the restrooms and showers. We enjoyed eating at Iredales, especially the free pancakes and coffee. We did not like the policy of preventing campers who do not need hook-ups from using a tent space (we have a VW camper van.
Jul 06, 2017
Upper half of campground looked beautiful. But we ended in in the lower section which is gravel and no trees for $85.00 for 1 night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Site pricing is not based on area it is based of amenities provided and all of our sites are full hook up. Lee

Stay was wonderful except I didn't realize until we had left that they never gave me the value Kard I paid for.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Value cards are not given out at time of purchase. Your number is on the bottom of your receipt and your information is added to the data base that allows you to stay at any koa by typing in your name. Lee

By far our favorite KOA destination! Friendly people, clean park, and TONS to do!
Jul 05, 2017
I was very disappointed in the 400's RV camping lot area. I paid extra to be next to the play area... did NOT happen. I was put A lot that backs up to a subdivision- if I wanted that experience I would have camped behind my house, only 2 showers for 100's of campers. The walk to the play area and activities were too far to enjoy with my kiddos. Asked multiple times to be closer to family -NO

We have had the pleasure of staying in this park on several trips. They are simply the best!!
Jul 05, 2017
WiFi signal week, otherwise great!
Jul 04, 2017
I booked this stay a year ago: Please request at that time WHERE you would like to camp within the park as we were right next to the jumping balloon. NO PRIVACY AND SO LOUD. PEOPLE COMING AND GOING right in front of your trailer. Plus we had partiers on both sides of us So sleeping was impossible. Please KOA: mention your curfew rules when checking in
Jul 04, 2017
This is a great place to stay...especially with kids! Our 10 and 13 year old had many choices of activities and never got bored. It's also close to fun towns like Seaside and Astoria. We will definitely be back next summer!!
Jul 04, 2017
Wonderful time so much to do!

Great place. Been coming for four years and I am never disappointed.

A lovely KOA for families, but too expensive for us, two people and one night. I blindly chose a KOA without checking the price--will explore other options next visit.
