It was wonderful!!! The only thing I would say is we stayed in campsite for 11? I believe it had a light right outside of our spot for the street. It would be nice to have some way of blocking it going into the campsite. You can’t even enjoy a campfire. It was so bright plus shining inside the windows.

We stayed in site 143, the street lamp was incredibly bright and mad it difficult to sleep, bees were the worst I’ve seen. Other than that the stay was fine.

We often come here with the kids for a quick getaway and always live it. I am ecstatic over the addition of the bar b que to go!!! Moms like to have a break from cooking and the food was delicious!

The campground was clean, well kept- good food available, great laundry room, many activities- a problem with a large flying flag promoting guns and politicians- We have traveled the US and never seen that - especially guns at a campground of many kids!! Wonderful staff here though-:)

We enjoyed the first couple days. The 3rd night, a Friday, there were several campers around us that partied til after 2:30a.m. Where is the security? Aren’t you suppose to be driving thru checking on things? We try to obey the “quiet time”. For that reason you got a lower rating.

Everything thing was good but the smell of the sewer. It made it hard to sit next to our campfire. Also the bees were bad. My boy did have a good time in the pool and the other activities.

We love this KOA and all the amenities it has to offer! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great comfort stations with awesome, well-planned daily activities for kids and adults.

Campground was great but the bathrooms/showers could use more cleaning. We were there 4 nights and each night the showers were gross. Everything else was great! Lots of stuff for kids to do. Sites were very large and roomy.

Our family always has fun here. They have two pools and a lot of activities! It’s right across the street from Fort Stevens State Park. We always ride our bikes to the beach from the campground. Checking in went very fast. My only complaint would be we had several wholes in our camp spot. Maybe dug by dogs? They should have been filled and site maybe raked out?

Great place for kids, to bad the parents don’t follow the rules related to the hot tub! Kids shouldn’t be allowed to be in there. Was not a relaxing experience we had hoped for.

Park was great as well as the staff and service. We were just not happy with the campsite location. We were right on a corner with a lot of vehicle and foot traffic. Not the parks fault as this was a reservation not booked well in advance.

100 USD for a grimy gravel pad. Bathrooms were not clean and smelled. Vomit on toilet at 8pm was still there at 10am. Staff mopping floors with their feet. 2 stars because the laundry was good. Staff at check in was pleasant.

This park is huge, with tons of activities for families. The staff works hard to keep the park clean. Very nice, well maintained park.

Employees are not friendly or customer service oriented. They are there to collect a paycheck. For example, I asked the lady at check-in about the cost of an extra vehicle. She told me $9.50/night. I mentioned it was not a friend/visitor vehicle and she replied rudely "I don't care who it belongs to! It's still $9.50." Other local KOAs have much nicer Employees who are happy and friendly.

This is the most money I’ve ever spent on an RV site and it looked nothing like the pictures online. Very disappointing. The state campground across the street is much nicer. There was constant traffic through the campground.

We had a great time. Our site was beautiful. We did not use the amenities. Although it seemed like the kids that were there really enjoyed themselves. The staff was incredibly friendly.

Pros: Great pools, friendly staff, clean, good activities for kids. Con: We were in trailer area at back of camp and our site was not nice at all. The fire pit was directly beside our neighbour’s sani hose. The treed area in behind smelled like dog poo. For the price, it was very disappointing that we couldn’t even have a campfire.

Excellent well run facility. The amenities are abundant, grounds are very well kept, and staff are very pleasant. We look forward to our stay every summer.

I would have given a higher rating, but the condition of bathroom 3 justifies a 3. This is not because of guests treating the bathroom horribly, it is the condition of the infrastructure! The dust was horrible on the roads, you need more gravel even on the sites. Plenty of KOAemployees do not drive the 5mph! We will be back, hopefully next year the condition of the park will be improved.

I wish there was a walkway in the middle of the 300 spots to get from the fun zone to the cs2 bathrooms. It's annoying to have to go to the edge. The staff working on site were fun and accommodating.

Stay was great. We had multiple families staying here for a soccer tournament. The players and their siblings had a blast playing all of the activities provided.

From check in to check out everything and everyone is always the best. Love the text messages to let you know what's going on in the park and activities. This was our 3rd year in a row coming for a week and already looking forward to next year.

There were just a few things we would recommend changing but for the most part we had a great time! You definitely need a central walking trail. We had so many people walk and ride their bikes through our campsite, it wasn’t ideal. Wi-Fi was pretty bad for a few times I needed to work & fire wood was way too expensive. Over $1 per small piece! We loved getting texts to remind us of activity time

The activities for kids and families was great. Our site was very small and not level. I would think for the price we would have level sites and not felt like we were in the ghetto section. When I text the night before to confirm our site numbers I was told we had the same as when I made the reservation and paid a site lock fee. The next day when we checked in 2 of the 3 sites we’re change

We have stayed at many KOA's over the 8 yrs we have owned our RV! And Astoria/ warrenton koa is by far the best one we have stayed at. Nice level spots, sites with personal dog pens ( which we got and loved and will never not get) we are aware this is a new koa amenity, the indoor pool and hot tub was the nicest and biggest, restrooms and showers clean, maintenance was fast, gift shop was nice, they have so many amenities on the Koa grounds , our personal favs were the pool and the rc track, and the close proximity to the ocean. Also it was a nice place to camp in the summer for my 38th birthday! We had a rv site with full hookups and a pup pen , my cousin rented a cabin for a couple nights and they played pool, jumped on the blob pillow, we fully enjoyed our time

The only problem of this property is the firewood, doesn't burn is just make a lot of smoke and they doesn't accept returns so is better if you bring your own firewood or get it from a different place this happen 4/12/2024, El unico problema con esta propiedad es la leńa que venden no prende solo ace humo y no aceptan devolución lo mejor es que traigan su propia leña o que la compren en otro lado esto paso 4/12/2024
