Campground Reviews

The staff is top notch. Always smiling and willing to assist. The campground is well maintained and the amenities are amazing. Something for everyone. So much to do you don't have to leave the campground. Definitely a new favorite of ours.

When we first got there we were in spot 404 witch is about 75 yards off the road. They had a little cart there to help get your stuff back there. But with two kids and just me I asked for another spot. I had to pay an extra 30$ a night for a full hook up spot but I was ok with that. We had a lot of fun other than that.

Had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed all the extras. Will definitely come again!

Very nice and courteous employees. Clean restrooms and showers. Nice, easy spots to pull into. Only area of improvement would be the wifi - did not work at our site but did in other areas of the campground

Nice place

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend, skip this campground. Very noisy and dusty. Had people constantly walking through our campsite. Lights and noise most of the night. Also very expensive! If activity and little sleep is your thing, then you will enjoy.

Well staffed and friendly. Clean. Delicious breakfast.

I absolutely hate your new visitors policy that requires you to keep the drivers license. Don't be stupid. Take a copy of it. A fee is paid. Stop keeping their drivers license. I hate it.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry for your dissatisfaction. The guest that visit are welcome to pay the $5 visitors fee and get reimbursed if they choose to leave within 3 hours. The licence is designed for short stays when you don't wish to pay. Sorry its a voluntary program. Dale

The sides for pulled through larger RVs are not on level ground, little grass, some trees and also your sewer connection is above your hose. This park is totally just signed for kids not older folks also make sure that you check very clearly the cost because there are some hidden ones that we were not aware of. You may also discover that tenants are assigned around your RV drive-thru site.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for your feed back. RV sites are one inch for every 10 feet for drainage. We get lots of rain and level sites would flood. Top of the sewer pipes are 6 inches off the ground again because of the rainy months. Tents are permitted on RV sites, and we are geared towards family camping. Dale

The stay was great. There was lots of activities for the kids.

Stay was great we come back every year and always let our friends and family know what a great place this is.

the perfect family vacation - clean fun for the entire family - not one "I'm bored"!!!
Aug 05, 2016
Very helpful staff and tons of things to do!
Aug 05, 2016
Enjoyed the outdoor pool. The water was nice & warm. The mini golf & bounce pillow was fun. The nice surprise was the concrete driveway & patio with comfortable table & chairs. My favorite was the raised fire pit which made it easy for making s'mores.

great campsite and campground a lot of things to do and frein dly staff
Aug 05, 2016
I liked all the activities for families to do. The camp ground was very crowded and busy and our campsite was not the best location. It was on the corner with lots of traffic going by and very dangerous site for our 4 and 5 yr old grand children.
Aug 05, 2016
It was necessary nice. The playground is a little noisy. The price is too expensive. Do you take senior discount? If not you should.
Aug 05, 2016
Friendly staff from driving up to settling in at camp spot! Wonderful outdoor pool! We brought our 3 grandkids and they loved it playing putt putt golf bouncing pillow riding bikes and mining to name a few fun things! Our grandkids wanted to stay longer!!! We will be back! Thank you for a Great time!!

Plenty to do, friendly hosts, delicious free pancakes and super reasonable restaurant prices, awesome showers. Very pleased! Only had two days. Could have stayed a week, so we'll be back. :)

Loved it. First time. Can't wait to bring all the family next year.
Aug 05, 2016
As usual, wonderful time!
Aug 05, 2016
Our site was not well maintained. The sewer connection was broken so I could not make a tight seal which led to smells escaping. Had an end row site which was constantly walked through as well as any one that was on a bike. Many kids were on bikes even into the night without lights making it dangerous for them and me driving a truck. Very unsafe for kids at night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for letting me know and I will fix that pipe. We are entertaining families and the kids do the darndest things, Sorry about the bikes. Dale

Did not like the idear being a disabled veterans and couldn't sell my woodwork as I only try to give back to all the veteran who served this countfy

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry about your experience. We offered to set you up in a prime location to sell your items but you wanted to sell the same items we purchased from you at a lesser price. Sorry Dale

Lots of things to do, but overpriced and rigid. My husband arrived early and picked up my car tag. I explained and gave my site number. I was let through but told, "That car better have a tag hanging from the mirror when it leaves!" There are more examples, but overall I found the customer service poor and the staff assuming the worst. The miniature golf staff were the exception. They were kind.

Great place. Nice, clean relaxing stay. Lots of things for the kids to do. Great cabins
Aug 04, 2016
We have stayed at at this KOA a few times and have always enjoyed the wonderful attractions and setting it provides! The kids had a great time and it is very dog friendly! My only concern is tight security and charge for our family to come and visit us... (We almost felt like we were in restricted Air Space!!) It was also a little crowded but everyone was so nice!! We will be back!
Aug 04, 2016
Wish we could have had all our cabins together
Aug 04, 2016
Wish our family could have been closer together. Will have to book very far in advance to accommodate our needs

Super friendly staff. Cute campground. Really clean bath house. A real gem!

We really loved our stay there at KOA. The only complaint that came up was that even though there are all you can eat pancakes they don't taste very good. We will definitely be coming again to visit KOA
Aug 04, 2016
Very friendly clean alto to do,
Aug 04, 2016
Sites are too close to one another near the playground. Our picnic table was right next to our neighbors sewer hose. Picnic tables were old and worn down. The only thing this koa has going for itself is that there is plenty of activities for kids.
Aug 04, 2016
While I was there, with 4 kids, I managed to misplace the cabin key. The gentle man at the desk was so kind about the whole thing. He told me, "Your'e here to have fun. These things usually show up." His understanding in what, for me was, a very stressful moment made a huge difference in my day. Thanks for another great stay.
Aug 04, 2016
The Extra activities were nice, swim pool, miniature golf, inflatable bounce thing, the activities Saturday for the kids. The only thing was when I booked, on line said close to play area for kids...they had taken it down and everything else was quite a hike away. The web site should have been updated. They also charge a "resort fee" as if it wasn't expensive enough already. WiFi didn't work well.
Aug 04, 2016
Camp sites somewhat small and close together but amenities are fantastic.
Aug 04, 2016
Great place to stay, clean and quiet with lots of activities.
Aug 04, 2016
The cost was too much. I paid $80. less per night at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, FL and didn't have to make my bed in order to sleep in it, free shuttle to wherever I wanted to go, a concierge who made reservations for me and a chocolate on my turned down bed every night. These amenities are impossible at a KOA, but the price for a cabin with a bath and mini kitchen shouldn't be greater!!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for the feed back. I enjoy trying to match apples for apples but I can't compare to the Waldorf? Their in-season price is $369 plus $30 per day resort fee. ours is $189 and a $10 resort fee, we offer wood fire's and free pancakes, and we do make your bed in lodges. Just saying! Dale

What I loved was all the care everyone put into keeping the place clean! We also enjoyed not having to cook breakfast.
Aug 03, 2016
It's a great place for family with young kids.
Aug 03, 2016
Always helpful,go the extra for guest, clean and fun.Our second stay, will be back again!
Aug 03, 2016
Upon our courteous and very helpful arrival we began to settle into our beautiful campsite and realized that the first step off of our RV was on the edge of some blacktop. I flagged down one of the maintenance trucks and a very helpful gentleman named (little)Joe saw the situation and disappeared with a smile it was moments later he showed up with a platform built just for us so as not to trip.&#
