Everything was clean. Loved the trails to walk the dog everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. Went to southernbporch , one of the lunch recommendations and it was awesome. Would stay again.

Restrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The Park was nice and well maintained. We were in a full hook/pull-through site directly across from the main office. The site was quite unlevel and was it was very difficult to get our RV level, even with our automatic jacks. I would have rated the stay 5 stars but was somewhat disappointed with our site.

we arrived after hours. our paperwork was in a rack on the wall easy to get, so we were able to self check in. very easy. we were passing thru, so we checked out the next morning to resume our travel. staff was very friendly, with nice smiles on their faces. price for the one night stay was very reasonable. would stay there again. only thing negative was the highway noise, but not bad when inside.

Good stay, just overnight so didn't get a lot of time to check the whole camp but the bathrooms were prefect and that's what I need the most. My dog Ralphie enjoyed the K9 club area! Thanks Scott

Tried different sites and none were level. The biggest issue was the noise from the interstate hwy. Now we know why they handed out earplugs when we checked in. Not what we expected from a Holiday KOA.

sites were a little closer than we like. Parking for our vehicle was as large as we prefer. Probably need new gravel for the sites and evaluate the level of some of the sites.

unfortunately due to matters beyond our control we got in very late. We didn't set up but instead pulled into our well marked spot slept and pulled out early the next morning. What we did note was the consistent communication and the prep for us arriving late. This made everything going wrong (mechanical stuff unrelated) a lot easier to deal with. We look forward to being able to return soon.

You need to put down more gravel so that there wouldn’t be dirt exposed when it rains.

Nice area. A lot of i40 noise mostly the trucks braking. Need more gravel on sides of sites. It had rained and ours was a mud hole to walk from vehicle to camper door. Beautiful sites in area.

I would never stay there again. Traffic noise is horrific, site was unlevel, and the entire campground is rundown.

The driveway is very steep and pot holed. All the sites and roads are gravel. We were in a water/electric only site with the understanding that there was a dump station. However, the dump station was closed in mid-March. The electric box was at ground level with the water spigot right next to it - not good. We would choose a different campground next time we are in the Ashville area.

This is our second year returning to Asheville West KOA- and we love the campground. Unfortunately, we had a poorly leveled spot last year (F16), and when we returned this year we were assigned the same spot. After speaking with the exceptionally helpful woman at the front desk, we were allowed to move to spot F1 for the week, which was a great spot. KOA was extremely accommodating for us.

I really liked this campground. It had a country feel .. lots of trees and walking trails. Our FHU pull through site was level, the woman in the office was sweet and helpful. There is a pool, dog park, playground, outdoor pavilion with fireplace, cabins, small store and laundromat. They are up front about the noise from I 40 and they offer free ear plugs/a QR link to white noise. We will be back!

We were only there for one night. Everything went well. The girl at check in was very pleasant. The area was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean bathrooms and showers, and neat well kept campground. Need not like the traffic noise from I-40, and camp store not manned to 6 pm like sign says

Holly was a gem to work with….. really wanted to exceed all expectations. Even suggested a local place for gifts. Gave us a nice private tent space.

The staff is so friendly, make you feel welcome. The access is a little tricky, but easy enough to get to. Well marked. Close to the highway, but the road noise is pretty loud.

The lady checking us in was terrific. Very welcoming. For campers this place is awesome. For lage motorhomes like ours towing. It is not as easy but can make due.

Although there was more truck traffic noise than I would like nearby, the campground was excellent and the trucks did not keep us awake. Clean, quiet, well maintained, quality maps and area maps, and friendly staff. Bathrooms were spotless and well supplied. We’ll be back! We even enjoyed the game pavilion.

Host was extremely friendly at check-in. Had treats for my dogs, and even for me. I stayed in a 45 ft. RV with a tow, and the site was a little tight. The campground is very well taken care of.

Very friendly and clean...dog park is really nice and larger than some. Yes it's off of i40 but they will offer ear plugs etc. But it really wasn't much of a problem for us...

A lot of raid noise, but they tell you that up front. The camp was clean, the staff hard working and friendly! The sites need to be leveled better, but we were able to level using our blocks in our class A. They only have one dog park, and it's over where most of the long terms are ans if you are in the pull through up top its a long walk. They have a nice pool and nice trail around the camp. I'm not sure I would agree with it being called a holiday ( lack of amenities) but a good journey for a 2 day stay.
