I love this KOA. Nicest staff ever.

Staff were great , park is clean. Only complaint is the really tight spot with a agave plant at face level right outside our door that poked my wife in the face .

Friendly and helpful front office staff and security. Exceptionally clean bathhouses. Very quiet considering the location! Really nice place. Will have to try the amenities next time! Thank you so much.

Was in Albuquerque for a convention and this was the perfect place to stay. 15 mins from convention center. Staff and facilities were excellent. If we return to the area this is where we will stay.

Very clean

The name indicates the brand as a "Journey" but the amenities would be more in line with a "Holiday" KOA. We were only there for one night but the kids enjoyed the pool, playground and jumping pillow. Property was neat and clean. Would definitely recommend the campground to others.

Not a good place to camp as it’s right in the middle of the city and very noisy with the highway right there. There is no privacy for tent camping.

Staying at this KOA was wonderful! Saff was extremely helpful and so friendly! The campground was in great shape, all facilities were clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back!

The pool is freezing and needs to be heated and the jump pad needs to be replaced as it doesn’t stay fully inflated. The rocks at all the sites should be replaced with fake grass. The 24/7 hot tub was amazing and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

We are super excited to announce that soon to come will be the installation of a pool heater. Thank you for your input as we always welcome suggestions.

The nightly rate is very high for what you get. $125 a nite for simple asphalt slab and wooden table. No other campgrounds have cost much and we’ve traveled all over. The beautiful RVResort in Heber City where there is a 21 an older section with private pool, fire pits and pickle ball. And they only charge $88. The place is beautifully landscape with grass and a great KOA dog park smelled.

Such a surprise right off the freeway. Very nice spot for a pit stop.

Showers bad..hooks very loose, need more of them; shower handles so loose, almost fall off. Unit space is good though. Dog park needs sitting benches.

Friendly staff and clean grounds. Lots to do while in the camp.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. We pulled in late and both were right there to help us get into our spot and settled.

I went there with my two kids. We are avid campers. The only reason we were going to stay there is for the pool and it was not working. Disappointing.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We certainly apologize for this inconvenience. Our pool had to be temporarily closed due to damage involving pool pump. The hard work given by the maintenance all has been resolved. We do Hope to see you in the near future and join in some pool fun.

Nice friendly staff. Size of spaces make it hard to park your vehicle . Rates are higher than most.

The kids loved all the amenities, it was really convenient to have the dog park available. Close to attractions we wanted to visit. The pool was very cold but that didn’t stop the kids from swimming.

The staff was very friendly. The campground is clean. We love all the fun art and campground signs. There is a nice pool which is a must for us while traveling through Texas in warmer months. We have stayed here before and will again. This is an awesome KOA. It is very peaceful here.

With our dog we usually have little to brag about but this KOA definitely places dogs in a position of respect. Lots of k9 places to “take care of business”. The staff was also friendly and the campground was immaculate. Bravo!

The campground was extremely clean and had lots of useful amenities. We were not very happy about the surrounding area, empty boarded up shopping center had a lot of people hanging around close to the campground.

Bathouse had knockdown strong sewage smell. Rest of park was nice

Drove 300 miles and paid 200 dollars for a two night stay. We chose to stay in KOA and pay the extra bucks so the grandkids could use the swimming pool. Alas, it was broken. No swimming.

Albuquerque KOA is located in the city just off of the expressway. Really nice for a KOA Journey . Clean facilities, friendly, welcoming staff and I felt safe despite some the rough looking area outside of the KOA. Just a couple of blocks from where Jimmy McGill's first office had been in Breaking Bad (Day Spa and Nails) though sadly the building has been torn down.

Arrived to find the office close. The lady out side was renting out sites, Glad we drove over. Great spot to spend the night tent sight is private but yet open. Bathrooms were clean and the place was so quiet at night. The camp was clean as were the bathrooms.
