Clean bathrooms, shower, clean campsite, quiet-camping. Staff friendly and helpful.

Goathead thorns all over tent area.

thank you your kind and understanding

Someone was in our spot. We did not feel safe in this area. It seemed that security was needed if razor-wire was necessary around the campground.

This campground was terrifying. There were loitering people sleeping in a van near our campsite, yelling and walking around. We slept with our gun and did not have a peaceful experience. Also, the site said there was a free pancake breakfast. There were no pancakes.

Located very close to Hwy...litlle laudly, on the other hand difficult to find it, no visual signs.Women's restroom and it's trash cans weren't cleaned for 5 nights as I was there!!!Staff nice.

I struggled with the freeway noise, with the bright light from the sign by the tents, with the noise from the moose lodge people. I liked the gravel to put tents on and wished there was more than one gravel space per site, since we had three tents.

The staff was really nice. But if you plan on tent camping, stay away! The noise from the highway kept us up all night and the bright billboard directly over the camp site made it too bright to sleep.

2 negatives: a car was broken into inside this KOA location content stolen; tent areas are full of stickers that stick to your shoes, socks, tents & vehicle carpet. Add security cameras & an effort to control the weeds/sticker population needed. Other negative, not controllable by management, is the I-40 traffic noise all night.

This place is great. I had a tent space with electric, best KOA for me yet! I loved the way the shelters were made with table and electric built in. Great place and I would stay again!

Stayed in 'tent village.' Very close to the expressway and a bright billboard. Off season so there were no 'neighbors.' Had an issue with a stray dog and the manager didn't answer her phone. Did get help with a car jump start.

Pros: Very nice people, clean restroom/showers/campsite. Cons: VERY VERY close to freeway (right next to it!), extremely bright billboard glaring at us all night, apartments right across the street... too urban for my taste! Great site, awful location...

Very clean and easily reached. While it was next to the freeway it was fairly quiet.

The place was right next to highway and it was just too loud.

One of the many KOA's I stay at every year when I visit New Mexico. This is a busier KOA bring right in the heart of Albuquerque! Camping in a tent was not a problem being right next to the highway as I fell right to sleep each night. Wifi worked great and they have very clean bathrooms and showers.

Saw the Undercover Boss episode on TV and decided to give KOA a shot. Glad I did and I will go to KOA from this point on. Super nice staff, clean, orderly and priced right for a tent site.

Great job, only issue was limited food/drink items to purchase at the office, had to go to convenience stores in town, but overall, would not hesitate staying there again
Jun 17, 2013
ce camping est pres de l autoroute donc tres tres bruyant. Il etait aussi difficile d installer la tente, car le sol etait tres dur !

People were great and the Kampground was good but the location next to the Highway was hard to deal with. Noise all night long made it hard to sleep. But the staff was great and the fathers day breakfast was out of this world.

Very nice staff. VERY close to the freeway and also got very windy at night, our tent was about to blow away with us inside it. Luckily our tent site included a small pavilion area and we moved our tent in their. Pool and hot tub were nice.

This campground is fine for RV's but I do not recommend it for tent camping because of its proximity to I-40. Also, the wind made it impossible to sleep the night I stayed....

Great location. I stopped by on my way through town from Vegas late at night, and the late arrival envelope the campground had set aside had all the information I needed. Showers were up to hotel standards, place was clean and the service was friendly. I look forward to staying here again.

Tent location was next to the dumpsters that were used almost all night long with a 6:00 a.m. garbage truck pickup. Dog run also was just across from our site. Staff were awesome though. Not enough shade trees. Oh and the highway is just on the otherside of that barrier wall from where we tent camped. Very noisy night.. no sleep. Recommended they find better/quiet location for tents

This KOA has fine amenities and a friendly staff, but be advised you're camping in a parking lot of a city and the surrounding neighborhood isn't exactly nice.
May 28, 2013
Facilities were nice, but we were given a trailer site instead of a tent site. The ground was hard which made it hard to drive our stakes in the ground. Also the winds were so gusty that it was almost impossible to set up our tent. The noise from the highway made it difficult to sleep.

Very good people both in front of house and in the background. Both knowledgable and friendly.

Very Nice maneger. Smiling. Very good.

It was nice, quite and clean. The tent spot was perfect.

We had a great and relaxing time. The facilities were clean and the staff was excellent. We booked a spot in tent village, but the winds were really strong. We were upgraded to a 2 room cabin for no extra charge which turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the winds continued to blow for more than just the few days predicted. We were warm and cozy in our cabin. Thank you again staff!

I stop here about twice a year and the staff is always very helpful and the facilities have all you need for a good stay.
Mar 19, 2013
The only things was that there was no hot water when my husband went to shower about 6:30am. poor guy! it was cold that morning too. however, the hot water was on when I took one about 7:15am.
Mar 18, 2013
The staff and restrooms are great! It's just a little noisy at night due to freeway.
Mar 15, 2013
Very nice and helpful staff. Great location, just what we were looking for. Will stay again.

We had a very nice 1 night stay at the Albuquerque KOA on our way to Arizona. Nice campground.
