We stayed in a cabin. There were cobwebs between the bunk bed posts and walls. Crumbs and cobwebs between the double bed and wall. Very dusty under beds. The pool area that the web site states you have, should be taken off the web site. This pool is not in functional order! It is empty, cracked and full of mattresses and yard waste. The guys at the counter was friendly and helpful.

Very nice well kept grounds. Friendly hosts. Reasonable laundry cost. Perfect dog park. Location easy to find. Only complaint was 5mph speed wasn't enforced. Lots of dust due to dry condition. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The campground was clean. We didn't use the public facilities, so we can't judge them. The campground host that checked us in was great and very helpful. Our only complaint is that the water stank of minerals and metals & was murky looking coming out of our faucets. The odor clung to my hair& body for a few days. It left discolored water in our campers system.

We like the location. The owner and staff are really nice and they are there to help you if you need it. We had a problem with our truck and Brian was right there to help us and get us back on the road again. We highly recommend this KOA to anyone traveling. They are awesome people and a really nice campgrounds!!!!

This location fits into the category of “journey”. It’s a quiet place to spend the night. The young lady who checked us in was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The public areas were clean. The washers and dryers appeared to be really old. The available FHU sites were out of reach of the WiFi.

There were no handicap accessible bathrooms for a member of our party in a wheelchair. The bathrooms were also so dirty that his wife had to clean the bathroom for him before he could use it. The pool area was closed and it was a mess and looked like a dirty metal scrap yard and very unsafe. I did not feel this campground meets the usual standards of a KOA property and would not recommend it.

The campground is adequate, but the men’s restroom and showers were disgusting. The shower walls were filthy, the shower curtain was worse. At about a third of the way from the top the mildew started and got darker at darker the closer to the floor the bottom third was orange. I complained to the manager he ranted on how much upkeep he did. He told me leave and never come back!

Friendly staff with excellent customer service. Beautiful quiet, peaceful campgrounds. The ladies restroom sink area is beautiful but the show stalls could use an upgrade. The men's restroom also could use an upgrade. We would stay again if in the area.

Relatively quiet place. A little interstate noise but not bad. Nice grassy sites. Good water, elec and sewer taps. WiFi needs to be improved.

Unkept. No plugs in bathroom for hairdryers. Lawns not mowed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There are 3 plugs in each bathroom on the front of the counter. I am sorry you missed it. Next time ask the staff. The grass is mowed weekly but it also dry and hasn't rained in 7 weeks.

The owner and his family are extremely nice. We gave up sewer connectivity to be able to use our dish satellite receiver. IT worked fine. Several construction workers staying there so you know their rates are reasonable. Was close to Austin and made it desirable. Albert Lea is equally close so one could enjoy both communities if you stay a few days.

Friendly check in at desk, but the rest was the worst campground I have stayed in 45 years of camping! The bathroom was dirter than rest areas after the 4th of July traffic ! I had to bleach the shower before I went in! it was discusting and it wasn't busy my guess is it was a week since it was cleaned I may call the health department on this place

I am sorry you feel that way. We clean the bathrooms daily. The water is hard and has a lot of iron which stains the walls. We just had our health inspection and passed 100%.

The internet didn't work. I paid a lot of money to stay at it this site. No shade. Nothing special about it, so I would recommend a friend find a cheaper campsite.

This was just an overnight stop on our way to Wisconsin Dells, WI. The campground was nice for an overnight. We probably wouldn't stay for any longer if we had something to do in the area because there was not much there for kid entertainment since the pool is no longer in use. But that is just our preference since we have a child. Nice well kept campground with nice hosts!

We Reserved via phone, March 3, for an arrival on June 20th requesting a Full Hook-up. Upon arrival there were no sites with sewer, thus no full hook-up. They could not accommodate us as they were full this night. The site we were placed on was basically under construction with a ditch mound across the middle. The grounds and sites need work. Best part here is the WiFi was much improved.

Nice smaller campground on the edge of Austin/Albert Lea. We travel through this area to see family every year and always stop here.

Close off of I35. We like stopping here on of way to Minnesota. Easy in and easy out. Plenty of space.

Unfortunately we arrived after dark so we were unable to use the amenities, but it was a great stay. They left us a map that clearly directed us to our site which was easy to navigate & rather spacious.

Great stop. Friendly owners, always making improvements. All trimmed up, clean bathrooms. Great view . Lots of trees and grass walking areas for dogs!
