Easy on and off however does need some TLC. They are trying to level out the sites with stone and replace fire rings however some sites are unkept. Only 1 trash dumpster for the whole campground and the pool was not open but was full of water breeding mosquitoes! Ok stop for the night.

Sites were rather large. Bathrooms were very clean. Office and store area needs to be addressed. The sites were not level and could use some fresh rock. No pool.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you feel that our store needs attention. We did do some remodeling this year and have lots of compliments about it. As for the rock we had a wet spring, as with many things it is hard to find trucks to haul gravel. I have a truck and tralier and hauled over 75 tons to get in shape,

Could hear traffic. No where near any activities. Had no activities for campers. Wood was 8.00 everywhere else it was 6.00. Nice staff but don't know what I paid for.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are located near the highway and there is some traffic noise. Not much I can do about that. My wood price is in line with other local convenience stores. When I look at your reservation you paid for a 50 amp full hookup site. We are a Journey KOA. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Was just an overnight stay while heading east. Friendly smiling face , great customer service. Womens bathroom was in the process of what appeared to be some “updating” so only had 2 showers available. Small park , no pool but easy access off Hwy 90. Would consider again if in the area

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! 2 small gripes that are easy to fix. 1st, the dump station is pitched with the RV rig nose down. This made it impossible to completely drain my tanks. 2nd, the dump station hose lacked a hose end to attach the hose to the tank flush. There was no working hose bib to attach my own hose to either. Both easy fixes. Everything else about the park great!

This KOA was in horrible shape. The swimming pool wasn’t usable, the game room was very dirty and being used as storage, the WiFi didn’t work at all. There was no sewer hookup. We were disappointed to find a KOA in such terrible condition.

Great staff to greet us and share info. Suggested a more expensive camp spot we might like better...we did! Nice patios, beautiful view of the corn field, quiet and restful for a 1 night stop.

We have been staying at KOAs for years and this was possibly the worst one yet. It would be more accurate to call this a work camp, than a KOA. The pool was in disrepair, the bathrooms have black mold and caked dust on the fans, dogs running around off leash everywhere, unsupervised. And the cabin we stayed in was unlevel and had birds nesting in the porch. I have much more but no characters left.

We had a good two night stay at the Albert Lea/Austin KOA as we trekked across Minnesota on I-90. Our pull thru patio site was nice and all the hook ups worked well. Surprisingly, how close the campground is to the interstate the noise was minimal. We would look to stay here again if our travels bring us this way.

The gentleman that checked us in was extremely nice and very helpful. We had a deluxe cabin. It was very clean and had plenty of room.

Spots were pretty level but ours was lower than the sewer hook up, black tanks don't drain uphill. Flies, Bitting flies, couldn't tell if they were baby horse flies or deer flies but they were really bad at our spot during our two days. Hosts were great really pleasant and helpful. Do recommend this koa.

Level flat site so I didn't have to unhook my trailer for an overnight stay. Guy on the golf cart was friendly who showed us to our site after the office was closed.

Met the new owner and he is extremely nice and accommodating. There are lots of improvements in the park since we last stayed there in 2019 and plans for even more improvements. Very nice experience in a lovely park Nice to meet the owner who made sure all our needs were met. Highly recommend

Always friendly staff. Well maintained campground. We stop here every year on our trip through MN and WI to visit family. We saw this time it appeared that there are more permanent sites than in past but still many open sites available. Nice dog park for the furry friends also.

Staff was very friendly and grounds were well groomed! I forgot my coffee maker at home (believe it or not) and the last one they had for sale was mine!! I will stay here again when passing through for sure!

This KOA is a gem. Nice mature trees, conveniently located just off I90 within minutes of Albert Lea and Austin. The owner, Brian, is very friendly and went out of his way to accommodate combining our 2 reservations so we wouldn't have to move to another site. He is passionate about his campground and has plans to make improvements through expansion and enhancements. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Close off of I35. We like stopping here on of way to Minnesota. Easy in and easy out. Plenty of space.

Unfortunately we arrived after dark so we were unable to use the amenities, but it was a great stay. They left us a map that clearly directed us to our site which was easy to navigate & rather spacious.

Great stop. Friendly owners, always making improvements. All trimmed up, clean bathrooms. Great view . Lots of trees and grass walking areas for dogs!
