This is a great park that you can tell the owners care about. We enjoyed staying on their pull-thru patio sites, taking in the sunrises over of the mountains and enjoying a campfire as the sun went down over the dessert. It's close to White Sands National Park and other great stops like Pistachio Land or the town of Cloudcroft! It was a restful stop, and we would highly recommend.

KOA staff was very accommodating when needed to change the dates of our stay at the last minute. The cabin,grounds,and bathrooms were very clean. Laundry room was great.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was only for one night, but everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant experience. It was Friday night and they even had a live band playing - some blue grass and a variety of music and songs. We stayed at one of sites for 30 amps. It was nice and level, but it was a little tight with our neighbors. The spaces were very close, otherwise good job

Je voulais réserver 2 nuits au départ, mais il n’y en avait qu’une de disponible. Alors j’ai demandé à Sandy, la propriétaire, de m’aviser si elle avait une cancellation et le lendemain, j’ai eu une surprise…elle m’a appelé pour me dire qu’elle avait eu une cancellation. Très bon service et personnel serviable et attentif. Que des bons mots pour ce camping.

The hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. The site was good except for the black tank drain. I suggest an upgrade. The bathrooms were clean but in need of face lift. One extra stall in men’s room is needed. I love the free coffee!

Very comfortable though I wish there was a bathroom in the cabin as they were quite a way away. Other than that though, it was great. Clean, comfy, very helpful and pleasant staff.

Wonderful staff! Friendly! Nice gift shop. Beautiful clean bathrooms. Close to park and other things to do in Alamogordo. We enjoyed our stay!

This was the best KOA stay I have ever experienced! The staff were outstanding. We ended up extending by 2 days because of a dust storm and they were very helpful in finding us a new spot. They also lend you a sled for White Sands which is a huge savings. There is coffee in the morning and everything is clean, including the affordable laundry room. It’s like stepping back in time when KOA was #1

This is a terrific campground. We were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our site was clean. We went and listened to the country music on Friday night and had a blast! We will definitely be back to this lovely campground!

The check in agent was friendly, helpful and thorough. The store was thoughtfully stocked. Both the bathrooms and the camping cabin were immaculate. Staying here was fun and easy.

It was great! Very clean, convenient location. I will say it backs up to a trailer park and there was a very loud domestic dispute from 9pm-11pm. Not the KOA’s fault though. In an RV or cabin, may not have been bad but I was tent camping so it was very loud and kept me up. Otherwise great stay! Clean facilities and nice little site to walk around.

clean restrooms, very helpful staff, nice activities such as popcorn and live music, free sleds for sledding at White Sands National Park. Overall a very awesome place.

Facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Noise level due to proximity of major roads and train didn’t make for a quiet restful nights sleep. Sites were spacious and hookups were convenient.

Very spacious site E6. Privacy fences. Close to White Sands NP. Stayed here mid-Feb 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #E6 General: Nice store and grounds. Easy access. Well-maintained with updated facilities. Staff: Staff is great! Owners are caring and polite. Sites: Spacious gravel sites with some privacy from fences. Large rock gravel. Campground Road: Gravel road. Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. Bathrooms/Showers: Women's showers were really nice—newly renovated! Private locked rooms. The men's showers were old and a bit smelly/dirty. Stall-style showers with a locking door to the stall. Laundry: Really nice newly renovated facility and the machines worked very well. Dried and washed well. Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants all within 5-10 min. 20 min from White Sands NP. Near highway: No. You do turn off of the main road (route, not an interstate) and go back a few blocks so minimal road noise. Near train: Yes. Train is close but not immediately connected to the KOA. Cell using booster: AT&T (2 of 4 bars —4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes 4 bars—4G) worked well enough. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings. Small moments of lag when using AT&T. Could stream as well on both networks.

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
