Clean, well-maintained campground. Nice bathrooms. Employees friendly and knowledgeable. I like the block walls between the sites for a little privacy. Dog park was clean. Thank you for a good experience �

Very nice camping there. Close to White Sands and other attractions near there. We would camp here again. We came in after hours and they had an envelope welcoming us to the area. Nice touch.

Awesome campground with a superb, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Really enjoyed using their sleds to go slide down the dunes at White Sands!!

We spent 6 days here during spring break and the place was full every day of our stay ,but was relatively quiet. I know a lot of people would complain about the trains in the area ,but to be honest it was no big deal.

We had a wonderful stay at KOA Alamogordo/White Sands. The location was great for White Sands and the town of Alamogordo had lots to offer for gas and groceries. Lots of activities for kids in the community room and an outside playground. The camp store is well stocked. The Wi-Fi worked well. Staff was friendly and efficient. We would like to recognize Lisa from Tennessee.

Really easy to navigate. The staff was friendly. Was close to town and to White Sands. Pull through and hook up was very easy. Our private patio was nice as well.

This is a great location - within walking distance of some restaurants and a quick drive to White Sands NP. The campground was exceptionally clean and well maintained with a cute little store and super friendly staff. We really appreciated being able to borrow a sled for our day trip to White Sands. We would definitely recommend this KOA as a great place to stay when visiting the area.

The only criticism I have about my stay is the amount of marijuana use that was going on in the campground. As a grandparent camping with three young grandchildren that is not the experience I want to expose them to. I understand marijuana use is legal in New Mexico, but as a private company you could ban its use on your grounds.

Very convenient to White Sands NP. Clean, well maintained and the friendliest staff at a KOA I ever dealt with, and I have stayed at many KOA’s.

I felt safe and excepted. This was my first experience at a KOA, and I very much value such a place that includes versus excludes new comers.

We enjoyed our stay. The sites with a patio were well spaced. The staff was very friendly and the grounds were clean. White Sands NP, White Sands Missile Testing Museum and Pistachio Land are all within a short drive (ask the office to borrow a sled for White Sands). I highly recommend staying here.

Staff was friendly and extremely helpful with all of the amenities. Campground has a little age but very well maintained and clean. Nice dog park. Very pleasant stay. Thanks!

Wonderful KOA! We stayed in a cabin - super cute, clean and exactly what we needed! Bathrooms were clean, employees were extremely friendly, and loved the amenities. Great jumping off point for white sands national park.

Very spacious site E6. Privacy fences. Close to White Sands NP. Stayed here mid-Feb 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #E6 General: Nice store and grounds. Easy access. Well-maintained with updated facilities. Staff: Staff is great! Owners are caring and polite. Sites: Spacious gravel sites with some privacy from fences. Large rock gravel. Campground Road: Gravel road. Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. Bathrooms/Showers: Women's showers were really nice—newly renovated! Private locked rooms. The men's showers were old and a bit smelly/dirty. Stall-style showers with a locking door to the stall. Laundry: Really nice newly renovated facility and the machines worked very well. Dried and washed well. Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants all within 5-10 min. 20 min from White Sands NP. Near highway: No. You do turn off of the main road (route, not an interstate) and go back a few blocks so minimal road noise. Near train: Yes. Train is close but not immediately connected to the KOA. Cell using booster: AT&T (2 of 4 bars —4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes 4 bars—4G) worked well enough. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings. Small moments of lag when using AT&T. Could stream as well on both networks.

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
