Need more shade trees. Due to low water levels, we could smell sewage in several places. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spaces were good. I would stay in space 67 again if I returned. It was perfect for my van and had lots of shade.

We were an E6 so we had a lovely site, nice and long, liked the dog park with the woodchips. We had good cable reception. the train was close but it didn’t really bother us. Clean restrooms and shower areas

Very polite and helpful people. We enjoyed the park. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed in site 19. Easy for a 44’ fifth wheel. Great view of mountains from our spot. Spot came equipped with a gas BBQ grill. Nice touch!

Very friendly and helpful with local information at check in, and I got a tree! The bathroom was immaculate and the grounds well maintained. We will stay here again.

Very nice maintained campgrpund. Beautiful pool and playground. Nice night time lighting that showed the way but did not shine up to hinder the amazing night sky. Sandy was knowable and very friendly. Thank you!

We were able to book a last minute reservation. The campground/bathrooms/showers were clean and there was a good area for us to walk our dog. Would recommend.

Even though the temps were in the 100s bc I came during a heat wave and I’m from Michigan I very much enjoyed my stay here and I want to come back! All staff were very friendly and our patio site was the best site and were VIPers so we camp a lot at KOA. Even the maintenance guy running around helping us was so nice. It’s just a Journey KOA but it’s close to some great national parks!

Everything was great during our stay. The campground staff were extremely helpful. I was able to borrow a sled for White Sands, which was a nice bonus. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The site was generally level and had some shade. The location is good for food, shopping, and White Sands. I would definitely stay here again.

A very nice campground with a few irritating “features.” The worst was the A/C in one of the cabins (K-2)… it was terrible, not keeping the single room at a comfortable temperature. We would have been happy with 75°. We were told that a new one was coming — after our stay. The next time we complained (and cancelled the remainder of our stay), we were told the roof was replaced recently (m

We have stayed ar many campgrounds, the host Sandy gave the best orientation, and they had complimentary coffee and tea, plus, a printout of restaurants in the area. Pet area, large spots with windbreaks. A must if traveling to White Sands NP

Probably the best KOA we have stayed at in 15 years. As tent campers it is so nice that this Campground has proper facilities for tents with excellent wiif on the site too. Too many times tents are left on a piece of spare land but not here. Purpose built tent area . Spotlessly clean and nice staff too. Highly recommend. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

We had visited this KOA last October and found the site to be very nice. We like the cabins for the convenience of not having to tow a unit. We have a place to hub and enjoy the local national parks and BLM sites. The availability of coffee is nice and the large air conditioned rec area was nice and welcome during the heat of July. We will include the Alamogordo KOA in future trips.

Wish the pool would stay open longer although staff was accommodating. Pool needs handicap ramp, chair and cleaning.

It was a quick one night stay, but we enjoyed the accommodations and amenities. Staff was super friendly and helpful!!!

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
