Conveniently located and the facilities are well maintained by the owners/staff. I stayed in a pull through site that had a nice patio with chairs and table along with a BBQ grill. I would stay here again and recommend this KOA if you are traveling in the area.

We rented a small cabin. We loved it. The mattress provided were thin, but we added extra to make them work.

The ladies in the office were very nice. They were kind enough to move our space closer to our friends. They also lent us sleds we could use at White Sands. We wish the pool was open since it was very warm outside.

This is by far my favorite KOA of all the ones I have stayed at or worked at in the last 6 years. As a guest, I experienced a warm welcome, an escort to my site and a feeling of community meeting other guests and staff. Grounds and facilities are very well cared for. I found working here to be so fulfilling; just a very friendly and rewarding experience. See you again soon, thank you all!

Wonderful staff, beautiful and inviting grounds. Kept clean. An awesome food truck was there on Thursday, excellent breakfast burritos.

One night stay, caught up laundry in a nice, clean facility, plenty of machines to use. Coffee available in the morning in the office/camp store was a nice surprise! We had a quiet night, despite proximity to highway. Staff were all friendly and professional!

Well run, friendly staff, nice spaces, very clean bath and laundry rooms. They lent us sleds for free to use at White Sands. The care and attention to detail in managing the camp is evident. They also have services such as propane refilling. Excellent property.

This is truly RV resort. Has all amenities including dog bath tub. It's very clean and we had a wonderful stay

Great campground! Sites aren’t too close together and property has a nice feel about it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean. Convenient to visit White Sands N.P. too. Loved that the staff loaned us sleds for the dunes. Alamogordo had all we needed to stock up.

The sites were reflective of the south west. All areas if the campground were well maintained. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They have gone out of their way to make your stay memorable.

The campground was nice and clean. The rv parking space was a bit cramped with the huge cement picnic table. (Nowhere to sit out in our own more comfortable chairs and maintain some privacy. ) Dog friendly.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful when we realized we would not be there till after 7pm. They let us know there was an after hours available to check in. The dog area was very nice and well lit at night. Thanks!

We spent two nights at the Alamogordo/White Sans KOA on our trip to and from Texas. We have stayed in this campground several times while visiting the area in the past. It is meticulously kept. The sites are very clean and roomy. The campground is not too close to the main road, so it is quieter than many. The staff is helpful and friendly. The laundry facilities are clean and well maintained.

Love it that the next morning after our first night, there was a food truck serving breakfast! What a great idea. Nice clean area.

We travel from Wisconsin to Texas then to Alamogordo. This was by far my favorite park. Very clean and great owners and staff. This was also our 1st KOA, what a great way to be introduced to KOA.

We love KOA for location and convenience. We stayed in a cabin. The bathhouse was close by and very clean. The couple who run this KOA ate awesome. The camp is less than 20 minutes from White Sands NP. We highly recommend this park.

I would have given a five except it is right by train tracks and they are pretty loud all night. But the amenities were great--showers, laundry, camp store, etc...and the people were friendly and fabulous.

Last minute reservation, and didn't get into camp until after hours, so didn't meet any staff, but called earlier and they let us know where to find out reservation info when we did arrive. Tent pad was super huge, used pea gravel, and had a concrete picnic table. Also had a pole with lights you could turn on/off, which made setup in the dark super easy. Bathrooms were clean, no issues with them.

The White Sands KOA was in an urban setting so it was a bit nosey. Good amenities throughout the campground. I noticed that on our campground site, the diameter of the wastewater opening was smaller than the discharge hose. You need an smaller-diameter adapter or be able to firmly secure the discharge pipe to the opening. Bathrooms and showers were okay.

We just sVery nice payed two nights to explore the area and White Sand Dunes National Park. Very nice place and easy to get in and out of with a big rig.

K away is always wonderful especially in a pinch. My slide out was coming out of my RV and I had to stop get on electric and fix it and they were able to be so helpful supportive and accommodating. I’m a KOA elites and have been since 2021. There’s a reason for that. Greg Kayway make sure you stop at the Carlsbad K Way.

Very spacious site E6. Privacy fences. Close to White Sands NP. Stayed here mid-Feb 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #E6 General: Nice store and grounds. Easy access. Well-maintained with updated facilities. Staff: Staff is great! Owners are caring and polite. Sites: Spacious gravel sites with some privacy from fences. Large rock gravel. Campground Road: Gravel road. Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. Bathrooms/Showers: Women's showers were really nice—newly renovated! Private locked rooms. The men's showers were old and a bit smelly/dirty. Stall-style showers with a locking door to the stall. Laundry: Really nice newly renovated facility and the machines worked very well. Dried and washed well. Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants all within 5-10 min. 20 min from White Sands NP. Near highway: No. You do turn off of the main road (route, not an interstate) and go back a few blocks so minimal road noise. Near train: Yes. Train is close but not immediately connected to the KOA. Cell using booster: AT&T (2 of 4 bars —4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes 4 bars—4G) worked well enough. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings. Small moments of lag when using AT&T. Could stream as well on both networks.

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
