We were very unhappy that our campsite was very narrow and between a big motor home and5th Wheel and our slide out barely missed the motorhome slide out by inches, which made it very hard to set up our water and electricity and there were a lot easier places that were available and had much more room.

Limited cable is a lie. No cable. Desk clerk said owners focused on other properties so they weren’t paying for cable at this one. Sight flooded after rain. The only sight that did so. Light in women’s RR flickered the entire time we were there. Wi-Fi was the only saving grace. Until a giant Tiffin Class A parked in front of the extender. Maybe reserve that spot for smaller units.

The campground overall was nice. However, it was lacking some amenities such as cable and a fire pit at the RV sites.

Great little KOA. Friendly staff Nice sites, nice pool. Clean restrooms. Within walking distance to some nice restaurants.

It's very close to I-20 which is great for getting to the KOA and then quickly resuming your journey. That's also somewhat of a negative as there is a lot of noise from the interstate traffic. The only issue I had was with the restroom and paper towel dispenser that was incorrectly loaded. As a place to overnight while travelling, it's great due to the quick access.

Not their fault - it’s a bit noisy with the highway so near by. Other than that - can always count on KOA!!

Came in late and check in was easy and quick. Only complaint is the road noise but we knew about this ahead of our stay so it wasn’t anything major. More toilets would be nice since there are only 2 in the men’s room. Rush hour at the toilets was a bit of an issue.

It was just an overnight stay, but it was very quiet and restful... I would have liked to have had some ice and LP, but they didn't have any...

We were there just overnight, property is clean well kept, we had a corner spot facing the wooded area, just what we needed after a day of driving… Thank you KOA Abilene!!

We loved how the spaces between RVs are not so close together…and the trees…the dog park which had grass (our little doggie loved it)…the staff working the office/store are friendly…so nice to see smiling facing greeting us especially coming off from a long drive. Overall enjoyed our stay at Abilene KOA. We will definitely stay there again!

Stopped for an overnight. Late checkin was simple and the site was just right. I had to unhitch due to a little slope from front to back, but was level side to side. Water and electric hookups were easy and worked well. Did not use the restrooms or showers.

I can only compare it to other KOSs, we are kinda puzzled about the lack of staff and lack of yellow shirts, and the fact this location our last few vists is never full like years ago. Staff at office are every nice and general stay was also.

Nice enough for a night or two, or longer if you don't mind a little highway noise and the occasional sound of a B1B taking off or landing in the distance. The Good: Clean bath/shower rooms with enough pressure and temp for a good hot shower. Nice little playground for the little kids. Nice little dog park for the furry family members. Good sized sites, level and hard pack/paved (we were in a pull thru) and full hookups. Nice laundry room with competitive pricing $3.50 for a wash and dry as of this writing. There's also a little book and "stuff" exchange area in the corner of the laundry room. The staff are friendly and jovial. The Meh: Cell coverage (we have Verizon and ATT with a WeBoost) and wifi coverage is poor to spotty, with the wifi being non-existent further back in campground. Highway noise and the lights from the motel next door are noticeable if you're in the front of the park. If you're planning to stay for a while, ask for a spot in the back of the park. If you need propane, get it prior to arrival as theirs is out of service and has been for at least a couple of months (we stopped here in February and it was out of service then, it's now April)...not sure if they have any plans to bring it back online or not. Overall: The good far outweighs the meh and this is a good stop along I-20 if you need to rest for a spell.

Great campsite! We stayed for one night, everything was ready for us whenever we got there, the bathrooms were extremely clean and heated/air conditioned! The dog park was super clean as well! We choose a pull through site and it was super easy and convenient! Only downfall was the wifi wasn't the best, but we are camping, so.
