Nice location. Disappointed at the pool was down and could not even sit in the lawn chairs. They did have a book drop, which was good and we left 10 bucks there. Too bad they didn’t have a pickle ball court as we look for those all the time. Staff was very friendly and plenty room to park.

We took our granddaughters camping for the weekend. They loved the pool and playground area. The caretakers were extremely nice. We will definitely go back.

We just needed a place to stay overnight. The hosts were very nice and showed us to our spot. Our dog enjoyed the dog park too.

This was my third stay at this park, and likely my last. There was a loud camping group that played loud and offense music well past midnight and the management either doesn’t live on site or didn’t want to confront the offenders so we got a sleepless night.

We stayed the first night in #41 at our request. The electricity flickered a few times during the night. We have a camper van 30 amp. We left the next morning to go eat breakfast and when I unplugged us, I saw that the 30 amp plug was all cracked and sparked when I unplugged. I did notify an employ, but he didn't seem too interested. When we returned, we moved to #11, a tent site.

We stayed in a camping cabin. The air conditioner struggled. The first 2 nights it was not cool. The tv was missing a part of the cord to be able to watch tv. However I never mentioned it to anyone to have them fix it. Nice campground. Bathrooms, playground and pool were nice and well kept.

I appreciated the phone call as we were going to be arriving after hours. When we arrived the packet was ready. We set up and the Wifi did not work and was not operational for the time we were there. While it was not a huge deal, it should have been working.

Despite a complete staff change, my stay was as good as always. Please help them continue providing me and others this same kind of service, Abilene KOA is where I go most often.

Very nice journey KOA. Very friendly staff, nice sites, pretty level, and a nice pool. Well maintained. I would definitely recommend the Abilene KOA!

My husband got sick the morning we were to check out. I went to the office to see if we could get a late check out as he wasn't able to travel at that time. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating, she moved things around so we could stay past check out time. I can't say enough about what wonderful customer service they have at this KOA.

What I appreciate about Abilene KOA the most is the caring, thoughtful, and friendly staff. The laundry facility and bath house are immaculate. The pool is crystal clear and shaded. Our campsite (#60) was level and all the campsites were clean. Some care could be taken with the asphalt and water connections. Overall, this KOA is great stay for those traveling cross country.

We came in late in the evening and did not have a reservation but we found everything set up so that we could find our site and get set for the night.

This is the worst KOA we have ever visited. The reception was gruff and she failed to tell us that the bathrooms were not available. A complete lack of attention to detail is apparent even in this survey, which they sent in Spanish to English speakers. Yuk!

I always enjoy my stay in Abilene! KOA is convenient situated for easy travel around the city. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the grounds are nice and clean!

Very clean KOA with a lovely pool. Would have appreciated it if they had propane even though it was advertised for sale. The people were nice and helpful.

We arrived a little after the office closed. We did call to let the office know that we were arriving late to check on their late arrival process, but we never got a call back. When we arrived we learned that our site had zero share and it was 103. We also learned that the park had had a water leak and that we had no water. We would have liked a heads up about the temp situation.

Sites was realitively level. No road noise. Peaceful surroundings. The only drawback is trying to get back on I20 westbound. The signage is not clear and it would be helpful for that information to be included in the “booklet”.

This is a great stop off if your passing through. Easy on/off I20 or if your heading south out of town. I do want to mention, they need to crack down on the leash rule. We had two dogs come aggressively toward my wife while walking our dog, she had to pick her up to avoid a confrontation. Also, another fellow was walking his German Shepherd with no leash. Other than that, good place to stay.

We came in late and left early but the park was really beautiful and very quiet. We were met ag the front office by a KOA team member even though it was after hours and were given great directions to our site. The only thing that I didn't like is that we couldn't stay longer.

Nice enough for a night or two, or longer if you don't mind a little highway noise and the occasional sound of a B1B taking off or landing in the distance. The Good: Clean bath/shower rooms with enough pressure and temp for a good hot shower. Nice little playground for the little kids. Nice little dog park for the furry family members. Good sized sites, level and hard pack/paved (we were in a pull thru) and full hookups. Nice laundry room with competitive pricing $3.50 for a wash and dry as of this writing. There's also a little book and "stuff" exchange area in the corner of the laundry room. The staff are friendly and jovial. The Meh: Cell coverage (we have Verizon and ATT with a WeBoost) and wifi coverage is poor to spotty, with the wifi being non-existent further back in campground. Highway noise and the lights from the motel next door are noticeable if you're in the front of the park. If you're planning to stay for a while, ask for a spot in the back of the park. If you need propane, get it prior to arrival as theirs is out of service and has been for at least a couple of months (we stopped here in February and it was out of service then, it's now April)...not sure if they have any plans to bring it back online or not. Overall: The good far outweighs the meh and this is a good stop along I-20 if you need to rest for a spell.

Great campsite! We stayed for one night, everything was ready for us whenever we got there, the bathrooms were extremely clean and heated/air conditioned! The dog park was super clean as well! We choose a pull through site and it was super easy and convenient! Only downfall was the wifi wasn't the best, but we are camping, so.
